True Grit was fantastic even thought it was a remake.

interesting list.
there is one with Meryl streep that was highly overrated and I can’t even remember the movie. Interested to see if it makes it in the top ten.
I agree with Lost In translation. yeah, WTF??
To: Perdogg
I haven’t seen any of those movies. Most movies are choc-full of leftist premises. I wouldn’t waste my time.

The author apparently isn’t bright enough to understand either Blade Runner or The Matrix.

Taxi Driver or some such title with Deniro.
For years I heard people raving about that movie and finally saw it a couple years back. I didn't care for it at all.

I have not seen most of the movies, but Inception was great.
Nowadays if it wins a Oscar it sucks bigtime.

I disagree with him on “American Graffiti”.I loved it.
I hated “Lost in Translation” as he did.

Close Encounters. I thought it was a very boring totally nonsensical film.

This guy thought Inception was good so, I don’t have any faith in him, right off the bat.

They put “The Matrix” on this list?! They are truly insane! WRONG. The first of the trilogy is brilliant. The second is mediocre, and the third is, honestly, painful. IT belongs here maybe. But the first was truly inspired.

The most overrated films of all time, as I see it:
3. (tie) The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, and The Godfather. Yes, they were good films. Just not quite as good as they’re made out to be.
2. Fight Club. Damn... what the hell what THAT?
1. Pulp Fiction.
Inception is overrated too, but not as much as these others.
Most UNDERrated films of all time:
4. (tie) Apollo 13, and October Sky.
3. Groundhog Day.
2. Titanic. Yes, that Titanic.
1. Forrest Gump.
And another, that’s simply a classic:
Vertigo.

American Beauties better be number one.
