The body didn't appear to have injuries or trauma. There was an orange juice container found inside the plastic wrap that the body was in. The container was marked with a 2003 date but authorities aren't sure if the woman had the container with her when she died or if it fell into the wrap because of the hoarding conditions of the house.

sounds like she was past her expiration date.
There is a fascinating series on TV about hoarders, I believe it’s called “Buried Alive”. It’s a serious mental disease - I had always assumed it was a pathological issue of laziness, to lazy to take the garbage out. But, that show has shown me how wrong I was. It’s fascinating. These people develop an emotional attachment to EVERYTHING. Throwing coffee grounds out, or a pizza box out is emotionally comparable to your wife throwing away her wedding album.
I think there are 2 different versions of the show going, one each on TLC and A & E. Have watched a few times. Some of it seems to stem from laziness, then they just become overwhelmed. A few can be traced to things like, a fire when they were a very young, abusive parents who destroyed their childhood possessions, along that line. Yes, it is fascinating.
Was the dead body still receiving SS checks?
Regards,
Fascinating show!! The scary thing is — this isn’t a few isolated incidents. Saw show last night and woman had
trouble just starting to throw out empty boxes. Her home was a huge house in a beautiful neighborhood in Virginia.
You would never know from looking at the outside what was
really going on in the inside. Just like a person’s mind...
I guess they can wrap this case up.
If you have ever watched Hoarders on Direct TV. Most family’s have given up on these people. Truly mentally ill. On some of the programs they find dead animals and homes filled with animal feces and just plain garbage piled up to the ceiling....Clean up squads use shovels and masks to clean out what they can...
