Prayer for Friend's Brain Surgery

Please join my in praying for my friend, "J", who will be undergoing brain surgery for a Grade II Diffuse Astrocytoma brain tumor on his temporal lobe close to the brain stem. His surgery is scheduled for Thursday, March 3rd, but I don't know the time yet. Through the Livestrong Foundation, he was able to line up one of the best neurosurgeons at the Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.

Last week, my friend J's wife went through with the divorce, but J was awarded primary custody of their daughter.
In better news, J returned from his follow-up appointment at Duke with the this update:
"the prognosis is that I will likely be part of the minority(12% nationwide 18% at duke) of brain cancer patients that are survivors."
Thank you so much for praying for J and his family. Glory be to God and His plans, even if we don't understand some of them at this time.
