I caught a short clip of this gal on the tube earlier today and it took me about an hour of digging to find out who she was.
Now over the course of my life, I've enjoyed very much listening to talented female singers. Jennifer Warnes comes to mind. Ricki Lee Jones.
This gal has got it.
Enjoy!!

If we’re discussing amazing female vocalists I caught Adele on Letterman the other night and she gave one of the most mazing performances I’ve ever seen.
Check it out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7eSVLVsQ-M&feature=related
Tremendous voice, great potential. Thanks for sharing.
The way it should sound. No glitz, no glamour ... just a song celebrating our great country.
Thanks! I had seen her back like in November doing some show... I was real busy at the time and never found out any more about her.
Very talented.
You are correct, She has a wonderful voice.
Song is very similar to something Taylor Swift might do.
But this gal has got more range in one ear lobe than Taylor has in her whole body.
Don’t get me wrong, I think Taylor is superstar caliber material, and a fine composer also.
But Kait really belts them out. From way down deep. Let’s hope she can keep it together!
They should have sung at the Super Bowl instead of that failure they had.
Yes. That video is about 3 yrs old I think. A friend of mine posted it on FB this week. First time I’d ever seen it and it’s the best version of the National Anthem I’ve ever heard.
I agreeeeeeeee!
The true talents are the ones that can perform without studio or musician backup. I saw Prince perform with just a guitar on a Late Night Show and he was awesome.
ML/NJ
the sound engineering of that recording is first rate studio quality, yet she is lip syncing in a living room?
Prince is a HUGE musician. I’ve got the 3 CD set of his which are mostly flip sides and outtakes.
He never made it mainstream because he’d be bored silly cranking out ear fluff. So he stays pretty cutting edge.
But in the end, he always goes back to the guitar and piano. With great results just about every time.
Good choice.
She is good but I found one weeks ago. Her name is Taylor Ware who was on one of the talent shows when she was about 12. She is fantastic. She is touring the world now. She is on YouTube, too. Sometimes I wonder where all these youngsters get their amazing talent.
I think it’s a real recording and you are seeing/hearing it as it was done.
Not that hard to do it in your living room anymore with all the digital stuff they got out.
Besides, I imagine coming across Youtube, the sound quality is about the same as MP3. MP3 ends up compressing alot of the mistakes away.
Fantastic!
It is clear their director/coach - and the singers — respect this song. There is nice creativity in this rendition while clearly respecting the underlying song.
Really nice! Thanks for sharing this!
