Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin praised a group of female students who posed in an erotic calendar for his 58th birthday as "courageous" and "beautiful" in an interview with supermodel Naomi Campbell to be published Thursday.
Putin said he liked the calendar, which was produced by the Moscow State University journalism students last year, and described the lingerie-clad girls as "not scared."
"I like the girls a lot, they're beautiful," Putin told Campbell in a flirtatious interview to be published in the British version of GQ magazine Thursday.

"The girls in the erotic calendar were courageous and they were not scared. As student journalists, they couldn't fail to understand what might have been said to them after doing this. Nonetheless, they were not deterred and did the calendar anyway. So, frankly, that's what I liked the most," he added.
