I sometimes go over to Fox News and their Discus comments section, following news stories and opinion pieces.
Usually, I see a large group of right-of-center people, interspersed by the occasional 'honest liberal' (defined to me as someone who believes in leftwing causes but isn't totally nuts) or a few moonbats.
However, today, following the Boehner-announced "House GOP Readies Ban on EPA Greenhouse Gas Regulations" article on Fox, I noticed that within hours the comment list had grown to 1900+, and many of these were vile, Democrat-underground-type moonbats, who declared things like "Republicans Worship Pollution" and other off-the-chain outrageous Chris-Matthews-type stuff.
It occurs to me: Are we beginning to see a Soros-funded Internet Onslaught of paid hacks who intend only to cause problems, spam with Marxist insults, troll all over, and so on? These guys have been going nonstop for hours now. It looks like they are paid.
There are a few things that should happen: 1) Fox should get off Discus for their comment section. They need a better moderated forum.
2) We should be aware of, and sensitive to, the creation of internet propwar brigades, funded by left-wing trusts and people like Soros.
3) We should keep a close eye on the influx of newbies and trolls to this, and other forums we are involved with.
Not me. I starve children.
Unless you force old people to eat dog food, you are a RINO!

Not everyone who disagrees with you is a troll, brother.
Thankfully I don’t have to put up with Google shenanigans. I used Dogpile until Dec 7, when they made no ref. to Pearl Harbor. I looked at the awesome pic on Bing, showing the submerged U.S.S. Arizona, and I’ve used Bing ever since. I’m very happy with it.
I didn’t know that about the trolls and the NEA. I thought only Eligibility threads endure the scourge of liberal trolls. Thanks for the information.
Name some names.
I’m the last person who thinks anyone who disagrees with me is a troll. But with Jamese777 I speak from firsthand experience. He is as liberal as they come. I pinged a few others who have gone to the mat with him. I don’t know if any will show up, but we’ll see.
Gasp! Yowza!
Got it... I was unaware of the software.
Oops; I forgot to ping you. Laz and I are discussing whether Jamese is troll. You might be interested.
Odd. Perhaps that button is blocked by your local host, esp. at work?
Once you starve them down to skin and bones, it's really not worth the trouble.
It's not about nutrition.
It's about harming women and children first.
That could be. None of the articles at the Fox site has a comment button for me to select. Could it be a setting on my browser (IE) or firewall?
Actually there were four trolls. One is still active, especially on the eligibility threads.
If I were to “name names” as you request, they would resurrect themselves and immediately report me to the moderator for “name calling.” :-)
I belong to a hunting and fishing club that once a year, every year, sponsors a controlled hunt where we seek out and destroy any member of the Endangered Species List. It is very competitive. Those little buggers are hard to find.
The winner (he who supplies the most pelts, heads, etc) gets to uncork a fifty-five gallon drum of light, sweet crude into our local water supply.
How many do you want?
Oh, just list them all. You needn’t alphabetize or sort by priority.
