I guess we'll have to wait for the medical reports.

It's hard to believe that he was more impaired than Phillip Rivers in the 2007 AFC Championship, or Emmitt Smith when his leg was broken, or outside the NFL, Mohammed Ali when he beat Ken Norton with a broken jaw, but I suppose it's possible.

And I realize everyone’s pain threshold is different. I just think the whole episode was odd from the time he left the field.

I remember a Ram player who once played with a broken leg.

I remember Levar Fisher played in his final game at NC State with a broken arm and then had his pro career ended by a knee injury. Your point?

I’m in Chicago and people here are taking it pretty stoically.

You don’t really need your MCL to walk

Your right, you don't need it to walk, but you dang sure need it to plant your feet and throw against. It is kind of hard to throw effectively when you knee wants to move sideways.

Here in Denver, we are all too aware of Jay "Quit-lar's" propensity for bailing in the big moments.

A lot of Bronco fans would rather have 3-12 record without him than a 12-3 with him.

He never has been a leader on the field, as a QB should be...

...and has a knack for alienating teammates and fans, ironically at the same time!

Cutler’s teammates in Chicago love him and stood up for him aggresively.

“...Mohammed Ali when he beat Ken Norton with a broken jaw”

Ali lost that fight, but he did continue fighting with the broken jaw.

He has a torn MCL which more serious than River’s torn ACL. And remember that Rivers did not return in the game when he got hurt.

A working jaw isn’t essential to boxing. A working knee is essntial to playing QB in the NFL.

Haney threw two really bad interceptions that the game. Cutler’s one interception was a long pass where the reciever didn’t fight for the ball.

“A working jaw isn’t essential to boxing”

Jaw not essential? Did you ever see/hear Muhammed Ali box?

There’s a big difference between standing and doing a 3 step drop and throwing accurately. The doctors told him he was done for the day, it’s the doctors’ call to make.

“...Steelers looked awful in the second half!...”

That’s why I’m glad GB won. They are a much more solid team than Chicago is. They have the ability to stand toe to toe with the Stealers. GB may actually win the battle if not the war. I just can’t stand the thought of watching the Stealers walk out of Cowboys Stadium hauling a seventh Lombardi Trophy.

Speaking of trophies, does anybady know why the design of both the George Hallas and Lamar Hunt trophies was changed? The design looks so Harry high school. Go back to the way it was.
