Elton John and partner David Furnish may have fame, fortune and a loving family, but the 'Rocket Man' singer won't be satisfied until gay couples are granted the same rights as their heterosexual counterparts.
Last night at billionaire Ron Burkle's Los Angeles fundraiser to overturn Proposition 8, the new father had some choice words for those who oppose gay marriage, RadarOnline.com reports.
"I think I have it all," said the singer, who welcomed son Zachary via surrogate last month. "I have a wonderful career, a wonderful life. I have my health, I have a partner of 17 years, and now I have a son. I don't have everything because I don't have the respect of people like the church or like politicians who tell me that I'm not worthy, that I'm lesser because I'm gay, well f**k you!"
John performed a 90-minute set of both new material and his classic hits for the 750-person crowd, which included 'Glee' star Jane Lynch and her partner, Dr. Lara Embry.
During the event, which raised more than $3 million for the restoration of marriage equality, John continued to voice his frustration over the disparity between his rights and those of other parents.
"Here I am sitting with a wedding ring and I'm with my partner and we have a son, but we couldn't get married," he said.
Despite his joy over the birth of Zachary, John's road to fatherhood hasn't been without obstacles. Just last year, John and Furnish were turned down after trying to adopt an HIV-positive boy from the Ukraine, where civil marriages are not legally recognized.
John does, however, have hope for the future. "We have a right to be recognized as a human being. We have to fight the good fight," he said. "And we will win."
I liked his earlier stuff but he's just a dried up old hag in my book now.
So this is what it's all about. Forcing people to believe like you do. And why does he care? Hasn't he ever heard that in this life, you just don't always get what you want? What a whiner.

You don’t even have “it all” when it comes to Earthly things, you aggressive perv, let alone the Eternal things.
I’d take the accomplishments of one humble Army or USMC private over a squadron of flaming celebrities like Sir Elton, anyday.
******************************
Perhaps not, but I am polite. :)
Elton can save his rant for the day he meets his Maker.
God will not be mocked.
Exactly, oh look Elton got himself a new pet. Poor kid.
I agree. He was here in concert a few months ago and he’s still good, especially compared to what’s popular now.
I started to post that someone needs to get him some hormones as he’s pms’ing.
You sure told them, Elton. What a convincing argument. I'm SURE they'll all start respecting you right away!
Thats entertainment.
Well, being polite makes all the difference. For example: If you’re a bigot, it’s o.k. as long as you’re polite. LOL! /s
Since I am not a lithe, young man with little body hair, I am not in danger!
Oh and Elton don't come unglued, but ... it's Sarah Palin's fault.
HA! Hey Elton, F*** YOU, too, you silly queer.
And there you have it!!! He wants everyone to make him feel better about himself.
The source for this is popeater......Think they meant Poopeater!

Respect is earned, not given. They could pass 1000 laws tomorrow giving him and others like him whatever “rights” they may dream up - but it wouldn’t change anything - they’ll still be bitter, angry, spiteful people.
I heard that too. Was it really Elton John, or his alter ego Reg Dwight that said that? :^)
Good manners are so essential, don’t you think? :) I know you do, bless your heart.
