As an experiment, I created a web page at sites.google.com.
I uploaded a photo there and then posted that photo on the forums board at Ebay.
Here's where the 'teaser' comes into play .. I am the only one that can see it!?
I built the page and posted it using the Opera browser.
Now if I use Chrome, Firefox or IE to view the same photo at the same forums .. I can't see it!?
Even if I delete my cookies in Opera and sign out of my Ebay account .. I can Still see the photo but nobody else can .. Even if they are using Opera!?
Not really any kind of emergency or problem (I Did say vanity) to overcome it's just as I said .. a teaser .. for sure.
I have that same picture posted in this message below and .. I can see it but .. Can You?
Nice elk!
ROTFLMAO!!!!
Seriously ROTFLMAO!!!
Yeah, but they leave that part.
Happens to me all the time when I search for images to post on FR and it turns up with the proverbial red X box. So now I test it by writing the code, eliminate and windows I may have open with that image, clear my cache, then preview the post to see if craps out on me.
LOL! 1/2 a horsepower. I’ll keep my 340 HP Magnum.
Zot!
You should have seen how shocked I was when a horse appeared in the new window. Then you really would have been ROTFLMAO!
Now that there’s funny. LOL
I believe the challenge is when Google uploads the image, it doesn’t add a file type extension or it adds in data after the file extension at the end (such as after the .jpg in your URL). Most browsers now can still handle that, but your browser may not be recognizing to display the image correctly.
This used to be an old issue people had with Netscape or early IE browsers.
I’ll dig around to see if I can find a solution.
ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!
Ouch. LOL!!
LOL!
Wow. Didn’t see that zot coming.
Is this an html cheese tutorial? If so am series fail. Very embarrassing. I cannot do it.
Is that a photo of one of those smart car horses?
That’s cool.
Nice looking quarter horse, about 6 years old? Withers a touch low for my liking.
