Another good tip is to right-click on any image you want to embed in your post, save it to your hard drive, then upload it to
http://imgur.com, where the image will be saved on their server. You can use the imgur link to post your pictures.
An advantage of this is that hot-linked photo (one on somebody eles's server) can be deleted or replaced with an embarrassing image.
