The Revolution has begun - free speech is the final piece
Watch Glenn Beck ^ | December 9th | Glenn Beck

Posted on 12/27/2010 7:44:19 PM PST by Halfmanhalfamazing

Tonight is an explosive show that you just cannot miss. Please share this show with all of your friends and family- it's so important. Wikileaks is huge, but people are missing the big picture here. It goes much, much deeper..it's all part of the progressive plan for revolution..and it is here. You might not have believed any of this was possible a few years ago, but you need to understand that the threat is very real. The world has changed..things are not the way they used to be. You must think outside of the box.

This is such BS. Is this what beck is spewing?

Shut up, moron.

And use your quiet time to listen and read what Beck says.

5 minutes of Beck is worth more to the freedom of humanity than you, your family, everyone in your town, every person you've ever known, and everything you'll ever do.

So is name calling the best you all can do? I don't see how that solves anything. If you all on this thread want me off this site, please notify Jim.

Comedian, I never expected this from you.

Gentlemen! Gentlemen!! Come on the trendy-set Hollyweird types and the inside-the-beltway types are the enemy. Here on FR we talk, talk, talk but hit the streets and the TEA Parties when we can.

Let's stay on the same side and give ole Beck a break. He admits he puts his sober trousers on one leg at a time. From my perspective he is VERY Yankee but we have to work with all kinds these days.

I didn't call you a name, I stated your condition. And stand by my evaluation.

WHAT IN THE HE!! ARE THEY DOING ABOUT IT? THEY HAVE THE POWER MORE THAN US LITTLE PEOPLE

They have no power except to motivate you and me into action. There is no sense of urgency among our leadership. The RINOS just rolled over in the lame duck. The last hope is the American people motivated and screaming. They hope to stir us into action by their rhetoric. But for most of us it's business as usual. People call me a "sky is falling" chicken little. But nothing gets done and the administrations just does what it wants and dares someone to do something about it. Which of course no one does.

That's why prior to the next election the internet will be shut down, "Hate Speech" expanded to include Christian doctrine any opposition to the gestapo tactics of Homeland Security will be aiding terrorists, Fox News Limbaugh Beck et al will be turned off as distractions and hinderances to the fight against terrorists, opposition to Obama personally will continue to be racism. And we'll continue to let our children and wives be groped at the airport and soon the mall as the price of doing business there.

I do think 2012 is our last chance to preserve freedom. It may even come sooner. After that America will be forever unrecognizable.

The real key is action or inaction from patriots like on Free Republic.

The challenge with that is most of us are a little older, maybe retired, and we are willing to bitch and moan but not actually do anything. Don’t misunderstand. I know there are many here that do plenty. But NOW is a time like no other. Reagan said that “liberty was never more than one generation away from extinction”. In the words of Malone in the Untouchables,
“What are you prepared to do?

It's not up to Beck or Limbaugh. It's up to us. Are we talkers only or doers?

Freedom called Washington to risk his life. What will we risk?

There are no magic bullets, only hard work.
Here's what we must do EVERYDAY.

1- Become a realist. RINOs can never lead the way back; only uncorrupted, principled conservative outsiders. Having said that, however, sometimes WE can occasionally use a RINO, our own version of ‘useful idiots’, in specific situations where a true conservative would never be elected, like with Scott Brown in Mass. BUT we can NEVER count on them or trust them and we replace them as soon as possible.

2- Support with time & money, invest yourself in true grassroots movements that have a chance to make a real difference for freedom like the Tea Party movement.

3- Develop and espouse a conservatism that does not settle for a little less liberalism than the Democrats promote, but father one that seeks to ROLL BACK the bureaucracy.

4- Support with time & money those running for offices, including local candidates, who share your values. Local candidates are the future state and national leaders. Supporting them now supports future conservatism. They are much more open to your conservative ideas than other candidates, too.

5- Send regular email to your state & federal legislators articulating your values and either praising or condemning them for their support or opposition. Politician email lists:
a) State lists. Governor, State Senators, State Representatives.
b) Federal lists. President, Senators, Representatives.

6- Gently work to sway the opinions of your friends & acquaintances Personal email lists:
a) One for your moderate and conservative friends and regularly (3-5 times weekly) email them links to articles that support conservative values.
b) Have a second email list of your liberal friends or acquaintances and once a week (more will just irritate them) email them a personal comment or two and a link by common sense and polite conservatives. Walter Williams and Michael Medved are 2 of my favorites for this. You’ve got to be gentle. No one wants to be shown up as having been wrong. Get them reading and let the authors convince them.

7- Have a Facebook account and develop F/B friends. Once a day or every other day, post a link to a Williams or Medved type conservative article. Mine has over 3,000 friends. Obama's has 17 million.

8- Develop a Twitter account and work it the same as your Facebook. Mine has over 88,000 connections. Obama's has over 6 million. Twitter and Facebook are the communication tools of today. You must get over your distaste for them and learn how to use them. You avoid using these to the detriment of conservatism.

9- DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP. Encourage all your conservative friends to do the same things you are. It’s called Duplication. If I get one person doing it this month and we each get one person the second month and so on, that’s 256 people at the end of four months and 65,000 after five. Trying to achieve duplication on FR this very minute is part of my effort in this regard.

The socialists will never quit. They were soundly defeated in the midterm elections in November and still rammed their agenda through the lame duck session. Nancy Pelosi is still their leader. Obama reads a book on Reagan over the holidays, not for the values, but for the technique of how to “appear” more conservative; how to talk up liberal programs using conservative language.

Freedom is never created top down but always bottom up, one idea at a time, mind to mind and person to person. It is always grassroots driven and when successful it is always achieved by the grassroots putting principled, leaders in power and holding them accountable.

Freedom called Washington, Madison, Adams, Jefferson, Franklin, and thousands of others to sacrifice everything, family, homes, land, fortunes, time, and some, their lives. Freedom calls today, but only asks us to give up a little time and maybe a few contribution dollars. Past patriots steeled themselves to the idea “Give me liberty or give me death!” Today’s patriots are asked to do a little computer work from our easy chair.

Are we talkers only or doers? Will freedom’s flame be extinguished? We get to decide.

That’s why government has to be limited as much as possible.

Government has to be very limited because if the people let government have some power then some criminal gang like these Marxist idiots in charge now may take control of that power.

The liberal media creates imaginary threats. The the people believe those lies and allow the democrat congresses to pass laws that empower government to solve these imaginary problems .So government power grows.

If you really believe Beck is a negative to our cause, then adios, MoFo.

There is no closer modern analogy to Paul Revere than Glenn Beck.

And you're bitching that Beck is spewing nonsense.

Makes us all think you're a Hessian. At best.

That's exactly right but not where we live right now.
We've gotta get busy SCREAMING!

Remember the movie 'Network'? Remember,
'I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE'

That's what we've gotta do everyday to leadership.

Excellent blueprint for non-violent and non-disruptive action.

Thanks, but....
What I really hope is that someone new will join the others among us that are DOING these things EVERYDAY.

It take less commitment than what the Founders gave and the nation is in at least as much danger. If we don't get busy the liberty experiment is over.

I realize that not all patriotic Americans are as committed and pessimistic as some of us "zealots".

Some of us, however, have a darker vision of where we are, and what it will take to get us out of here. But that's our problem and burden, not yours.

Your blueprint is an excellent place for millions of Americans to begin, and follow through. As far as I'm concerned, we only need the historic 3% to back the rest of us.

Regardless, go with throttle up. You've got an excellent approach.

you have no solutions.

I'm going to hesitate from burning you to a verbal crisp on the assumption you're making a joke I don't get.

The solutions are distributed and non-centralized, dynamic and unstoppable. Like the Tea Party. Every individual doing whatever he can to destroy the centralized tyranny.

Beck just makes people aware of the nature, character, and existence of the centralized tyranny.

That's his effing job, damn it.

Please tell me you get this.

We human beings are capable of great good and great evil. There are those of us who seek to perfect mankind; there are also those of us who make use of such Utopian fools to commit crimes against humanity that beggar the imagination. These people are monsters - killers without conscience. This is who we face today. This is who has gotten control of the apparatus of the American state. I am not speaking of Barack 0bama - he's nothing more than a jumped-up lawn jockey grinnin' and greetin' and shuckin' and jivin' to his masters' tune.

The trouble as I see it, is that our sheltered existence has led us to shy away from a frank look and an unflinching comprehension of the darker side of human nature. We simply don't want to believe it. As Peikoff has said in his Ominous Parallels it was not so much a matter of believing the Big Lie - it was the refusal to accept the Incredible Truth that led so many to walk onto the Third Reich rail cars.

The brutality of man is an age-old story. But of late, we have become disconnected from it here in America. Our pampered existence has led us into a virtual Disneyland of disbelief. But who can blame people for not wanting to believe this stuff? Who wants to?

Moreover, most of us don't think in terms of the pursuit of power over others. As I said in the essay, for some, absolute power is more compelling, more addictive than any drug. We can't understand that mindset because we just don't operate that way. Our moral and ethical sensibilities are anchored in our belief in, and personal relationship with our Creator. Unlike these power-lusters, these monsters, we have a moral compass. They don't. And they despise those of us who do. Think about it: all of the current cultural rage against, and sneering at, those they label 'goody two-shoes. Men of honor and simple human dignity are the sneering punch lines to liberal party jokes.

Men like us.

"Freedom is not synonymous with an easy life. ... There are many difficult things about freedom: It does not give you safety, it creates moral dilemmas for you; it requires self-discipline; it imposes great responsibilities; but such is the nature of Man and in such consists his glory and salvation."
--Margaret Thatcher

Never give up. Prepare for war. Make them pay.
