RIP Griff...
Anyone have an email for him?
Sad news. We also lost our 17 year old dog today. Peter died peacefully in his own bed this morning.
He lived a good life.

There is less joy in the world today. It’s with great sadness I tell you that Griffen Levin passed away at 1:30 PM today. He stopped eating and drinking the past two days and we could not let him starve. We are mourning now but I wanted to let you all know as you’ve been so kind. If you want to learn more about Griffen, turn to the last chapter of Rescuing Sprite. He was a wonderful little boy, a buddy, a bundle of life and joy. Yet, he was neglected much of his life, until we adopted him almost 4 years ago (February 2007). But in the end, his body broke down. I pray to God he is at peace. We will miss him terribly. Your family loves and adores you, Griffey. :(((
God bless you all. Mark
We love dogs... we show dogs... and dogs are my favorite people. My heart goes out to you Mark... GOD bless you and know that you will see your best friend again someday.

Another book opportunity?
Tom Marr is a good host. He used to host the Saturday Night Shootout in Philly......and I still miss him.
Anyone who has or has ever owned a dog hurts with him.
But three minutes at the start of the show would have been enough for Marr to convey the sense of loss, and then move on.
He didn't. I did.
Somebody ping Fudd Fan’s Levin list, please.

R.I.P. Griffin.
Levin was talking about losing “someone” in his family over the Holidays last week, and he could hardly keep it together.
Sorry to hear about his pup. May he RIP.
.
It just breaks my heart. We rescue elder dogs. They come ready made, but they also come older, and with issues. This past March, we had to give one up. It’s never easy. We’re on our 3rd elder rescue. We love these guys. The need a home more so than puppies.
That’s the trade off. I love the older dogs. We’re watching our 11 year old, he’s been part of our family for 3 years now. I can’t stress how joyful rescuesing elders has been. Elders need a home much more that puppies. God bless Griffen and the Levin family. Mark gave him four fabulous years! That’s more than Griffen ever expected. Griffen had the best life he ever could have imagined.
Mark, he knew when he had to go, and he timed it perfectly. He knew your schedule, and he took care of YOU.
Remember him for his joy.
Prayers up for Mark and his family.
