When she returned home just before 8 a.m. Thursday, she found her bedroom had been ransacked and her kitchen cabinets left open. The electrical meter had been stolen from an outside

This broke my heart, angered me greatly, etc. Please say a prayer for this little guy and pray that these thugs are caught and punished severly!

Absolutely! The perps should have the same thing they did to this poor puppy done to them. In public.

I believe the Anglo Saxons had a punishment where they threw a man into a pit of hungry wolves. This punishment may be appropriate.

God forgive me for saying this, but I hope whoever did it dies in some slow, horrible, gruesome fashion, long *before* they "work their way up" to torturing people.

I used to worry about somebody hurting my harmless Ibizans and Podengo if we ever got robbed....so I got Odin.

If I'm home, he'll bark at people coming near the house.

If we're away, you'd never know he was even in here...until "Surprise!" his teeth were in your throat.

Prayers for the poor little pup....:(

You’ve seen Douglas and Borgnine in “The Vikings”?

Bogrnine’s character is thrown into the wolf pit and yells “I die laughing!”.

I think not.

[but it would be “fun” to experiment on the thief, wouldn’t it?]

Anybody that stupid left evidence behind, and certainly already has a criminal record.

WTF is with people ! I wonder what went through the burglar’s mind when he was abusing the puppy ! I wonder how the prison inmates will treat him when they catch him and send him off ? I wonder if it will be similar to child abusers especially pedophiles.

“I wonder what went through the burglar’s mind when he was abusing the puppy !”

Sadistic “power over” a defenseless being.

Future serial killer, coming up.

Does GA have a death penalty?

I’d like to see lead or amps “go through his mind”.

In a couple years, he’ll have a “wife” and kids.

I’ll keep you on the list....:)

[otherwise, there are lots of them in DP rescues, awaiting adoptive parents]

I know. I say that in jest. My best friend growing up had a DP and it was the best dog. I live in an apt and it wouldn’t be ideal. I’m a big doberman and rottie fan. Best and sweetest dog a person can have.
Oh, I like Bassets because they are just like me. :o)

“I’d like to get my hands on whoever did that.”

That makes two of us. I’d like to take a baseball bat to the creep(s), then finish them off with a little lead poisoning.

If that is the appropriate punishment for torturing an animal, what would be the approriate punishment for killing another human?

So we punish animal torturers by throwing them in a pit, but leave those who kill humans alone, waiting until some appropriate form of punishment for that act is invented?

I like my way better.

Throw him in a pit with the persons relatives.

Prayers for the puppy and this family. I pray for the strongest biblical justice against whoever did this to that little dog. Stealing just wasn’t enough, had to mutilate a little dog defending their masters’ home.

Sick bastard.
