Need Serious Help.

To make a long story short.... as a child, my brother saw a demon outside our window (back then you had to have the tv by a window because of heat generated). He saw this demon "dancing" around our window. He has been plagued w/ nothing but horror.

Now, in these days, he has over come his demons; however, his first born son has seen this demon, a few months ago, outside his window. His first born son described to him ( at first reluctant that he would not be believed) the same thing my brother saw as a child. My brother was stunned.

We need help. I truly believe in satan and his demons to be as real as we are. What can we do? Who do we turn to?

Some may see this as nonsense, but we are living this in real life. Can anyone help us or at least lead us to someone who can help?

Perhaps the definition of fear is important in this case.

Satan knows IIRC, what his boundaries are and that he can operate more or less with impunity within those boundaries for the period he’s allotted.

He’s wrathful at getting kicked out of heaven and not at all looking forward to being bound for a thousand years and then forever.

I suspect the latter strikes more than a little fear into his consciousness and fosters great amounts of his hostility toward God’s favorite creation—man.

I was pondering the issue as I went to sleep . . .

The four year olds I was talking about were taught to pray to Jesus etc. as soon as they could talk and understand anything about such, at all.

If they had a bump or scrape or nightmare, they were taught to take it immediately to Jesus.

If their playmate had an injury, in addition to calling on a parent figure, they were taught to take it immediately to Jesus.

Many would voluntarily on their own initiative come up to a parent with a headache or some such and pray for healing. Many healings occurred in such instances.

Sometimes the very young children as young as 4 or even younger would rebuke a headache or whatever as a demonic influence and wholeness was instantly restored.

Folks can choose to disbelieve, if they care to. I lived in such homes. I saw it with my own eyes.

Just wanted to echo what IrishCatholic said about checking out mental factors. Tweens & teens go through a lot of hormonal changes and it can trigger things such as schizophrenia that have not manifested earlier. (Not saying this is schizophrenia, just using that as an example.) OTOH, I do believe there are “more thing in Heaven and earth” than we are aware of. If my child came to me with that report, I would take him to the doctor first and get him thoroughly checked out, though I’m not sure I would tell them the whole story since you don’t want to get his file tagged with prejudicial terms at such a young age. I think I would just tell the doc he thought he had seen things a time or two that weren’t there, but not go into detail.

If that did not pan out, my next stop would be with my priest or pastor. And I’d tell him/her the *whole* story.

It's absurd to attempt to claim that every single thing that happened on the face of the earth during the thousands-years span that the Bible was written is recorded in the Bible.

Not even every single thing Jesus did during His time on earth is recorded in the Bible.

God wrote in His book what we need to know to be reconciled to Him, to know Him as Savior and have a personal relationship with Him, and to spend eternity with Him. The statement to "find in the Bible every single demon sighting" that people may have had over thousands of years is simply an attempt to cast doubt and derision over the fact that Satan and demons exist, the fact that Jesus told us they exist and in fact cast demons out of people Himself, and the fact that demons are still at work today, trying to derail God's redemptive plan for man and trying to destroy as many of us as they can.

That's all this is.

First off who ever you contact in Christianity that knows anything about this is going ask you and your family members is “Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?” Secondly they are going to enquire if you or any of your family members are involved in any shape manner or form in the occult. You and your family members had better be ready to answer honestly about this. So if there are doubts about someone’s salvation or if there might be some type of occult dealings you need to honest and deal with these things first and foremost before taking on any type of Spiritual Warfare to deal with the situation.

Look demonic forces are nothing to be fooling around with. So before you start pulling down demon strong holds on your own, heading down the Bob Larson road of exorcism, or ordering a copy of 2 Rituale Romanium of Exorcismus from the Vatican you need to know what you are dealing with and how to best deal with it. There can be serious repercussions if you are not prepared for it in Spiritual Warfare that many people do not take into consideration before taking action against demonic powers.

The best thing to be doing right now if you are saved and redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ is to be ready to pray and quote scripture when the demonic attacks occur. That your family needs to understand the power of the word of God and know they are redeemed from sin through Christ’s dying on the cross and his resurrection from the grave that Jesus name carries power. When Jesus had fasted for forty days Satan tempted him by trying to get him to overcome his hunger by turning the stones to bread. But Jesus answered Satan by telling that man does not live by bread alone but by the word of God. Here are the verses from the New American Standard version:
Matthew 4
The Temptation of Jesus
1(A)Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness (B)to be tempted by the devil.
2And after He had (C)fasted forty days and forty nights, He [a]then became hungry.
3And (D)the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the (E)Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
4But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘(F)MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.’”

What Jesus is saying here is when you are tempted or spiritually attacked know God’s word. Know those memorization verses that you are taught. They don’t make you memorize them to make you a scripture quoting zombie but so you know the word and God wisdom that He has written down for you and know when to use that word for your defense or when a certain situation arises were God’s wisdom is needed. You are equipped and ready to deal with it by the power of God’s word right there from your own mind and heart for you to quote yourself without having to look it up. You are prayer ready with God’s powerful word to ask in Jesus name for help. When the devil tries to attack you at your weakest point, your weakest moment. Do what Jesus did, bring God into it. Know your Bible, quote it to him, say, ”It is written!”

Hosea 4:6 says:
6(P)My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge
Because you have (Q)rejected knowledge,

Proverbs 4:4-7 says:
1Hear, O sons, the (A)instruction of a father,
And (B)give attention that you may gain understanding,
2For I give you sound (C)teaching;
(D)Do not abandon my instruction.
3When I was a son to my father,
(E)Tender and (F)the only son in the sight of my mother,
4Then he (G)taught me and said to me,
“Let your heart (H)hold fast my words;
(I)Keep my commandments and live;
5(J)Acquire wisdom! (K)Acquire understanding!
Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth.

Second Peter it says:
2(F)Grace and peace be multiplied to you in (G)the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;
3seeing that His (H)divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true (I)knowledge of Him who (J)called us by His own glory and excellence.

So you see having God’s word in you when the situation arises gives you the sword of truth to fight off Satan and his attacks. For a starter point memorize the Lord’s prayer Matthew 6: 9-13, Ephesians 6: 10-18, Psalm 23: 1-6, Psalm 91: 1-16. Then find other verses and began to build your knowledge of God and his word so you will have it ready. Practice these verses with your family so they will remember them.

One of the most powerful things one can say is “Satan get behind me in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior!” It is straight and to the point of the problem of the attack. A simple of prayer of “Lord Jesus give me strength and surround me with your protective righteousness and deliver me from the evil one.” Prayers do not have to be super eloquent to get God’s attention. Just calling out “Jesus save me!” is enough sometimes.

The other thing in calling down demonic strongholds is not to go toe to toe with Celestial Beings. Challenging Satan is not a good idea because he might just take you up on it. One does not want to open more doors for demonic beings to enter and attack. The best thing to do is say “The Lord Jesus Christ rebukes you!” until you have a better knowledge of Spiritual Warfare and good prayer partners you should not directly challenge the powers of darkness.

Jude 1: 9-10 says
9But (AC)Michael (AD)the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about (AE)the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, “(AF)The Lord rebuke you!”
10But (AG)these men revile the things which they do not understand; and (AH)the things which they know by instinct, (AI)like unreasoning animals, by these things they are destroyed.
2 Peter 2: 9-10 says
9(AB)then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the (AC)day of judgment,
10and especially those who (AD)indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and (AE)despise authority Daring, (AF)self-willed, they do not tremble when they (AG)revile angelic majesties

From these scriptures I take it as a warning not to go one on one with these guys by slandering them.

I am no expert in this field but what I have posted is what I have learned over the years in dealing with demonic attacks. Other people on this site can probably give you better info but all I am offering is good starting place on how to deal with the situation at hand. Hope this helps you and your family out.

Start your day with prayer and reading God’s word. Then pray through out the day. Then end your day with prayer and reading God’s word. It is the best protection out there by far. Jesus Saves. Amen. My prayers will be with you.
