To make a long story short.... as a child, my brother saw a demon outside our window (back then you had to have the tv by a window because of heat generated). He saw this demon "dancing" around our window. He has been plagued w/ nothing but horror.
Now, in these days, he has over come his demons; however, his first born son has seen this demon, a few months ago, outside his window. His first born son described to him ( at first reluctant that he would not be believed) the same thing my brother saw as a child. My brother was stunned.
We need help. I truly believe in satan and his demons to be as real as we are. What can we do? Who do we turn to?
Some may see this as nonsense, but we are living this in real life. Can anyone help us or at least lead us to someone who can help?
Exactly and well said. Grabbing some rosary beads and mumbling repetitive prayers defiantly in the face of something malevolent could make things worse. These things have the wisdom of the ages, a military like hierarchy and play for keeps. Most of your churches wanna preach feel good Churchianity or doctrines and rituals, not equipping Christians for real spiritual warfare. I am not a Catholic but I found Malachi Martin's book Hostage to the Devil, chilling and educational. These things operate on a whole other level intellectually, we alone are powerless against them. Also Connie Huft has an excellent book Know Thine Enemy, which chronicles her oppression , deliverance and study on the world of the demonic from a Biblical perspective
FRiend. I'm not young, and I have seen things I can't explain. I also believe that most of our problems.....well...we bring onto ourselves. The mind is the temple of God. Make sure your mind is straight, do good to others......most problems work out from there.
Exactly. I made that point myself. One must not enter into spiritual warfare unless prepared to do so.
I don't think my brother did until his first born has seen what he has.
When I talked to my family about taking the Bible literally, they scoffed. Not so much lately.
Not sure of your point here? If you are asserting that all outward signs of the supernatural died after the apostolic age, that is flat wrong. If we are arguing about spiritual gifts then that is a doctrinal disagreement that could be up to interpretation much like the eschatology debates many of us have.
Satan doesn’t fear Jesus. You might recall a certain temptation in the wilderness? If Jesus were the son of God, if not that, as Jew he would have recognized him as “The Accuser”, a servant or agent of God. Like His own J. Edgar Hoover or Hillary Clinton collector of FBI files.
Amen.
My brother would be into this; however, my sister in law and her family would be the “flakiness”.
I just have to convince my brother to convince the rest of them.
Very well said!!! Loved Fr. Martin God Rest his soul. He was definately a soldier of God. Another book The Rite. About Fr. Thomas. He was sent to the Vatican to train as an exorcist.
Apparently, Bishops from all over were bombarding Rome for help.
These things should not be taken lightly.
Demons surround us. They are only able to enter our minds if we are not protected by the Lord. He alone is able to keep us safe from demons.
Seeing a spirit is not a danger. It may simply be a sign that surrendering to Christ is necessary for the protection of their souls. If your brother is saved no demon can enter him or those in his family unless they expressly allow it by virtue of denying Christ’s protection.
Advise your brother to remain strong in Christ and be sure to teach the children the same. The Lord will protect them.
If you are asserting that all outward signs of the supernatural died after the apostolic age, that is flat wrong.

Really? Can you then please point me to the thousands of witnesses today who have seen the lame healed, the lepers cleasned, the blind receiving their sight and the dead being raised?
Thanks about the prayers and jabs. I expected some, just not as many.
No sweat.
In healthy motivations . . . it is usually
HATING to see the destruction the enemy and his forces exact upon human beings who have become their prey through whatever means.
Sometimes, it’s because of being delivered themselves from horrid oppression/possession.
I don’t know that it makes enormous difference if it’s intense OPPRESSION OR POSSESSION.
The prayers are essentially the same.
Which question are you referring to?
No you don’t, FRiend. That’s God’s job. You don’t need that kind of pressure. Take this time to encourage your brother in his fledgling faith, and to build your own.

Satan's best trick was to make those believe he does not exist. Poor fools.
I want you to go to your Bible and find every instance where a demon was seen.
I need to correct for some assumptions on my part.
Sorry.
1. It is folly and worse to attempt to deal with demonic forces
WITHOUT AN AUTHENTIC, GENUINE, STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS, PERSON TO PERSON, HEART TO HEART, MIND TO MIND. SPIRIT TO SPIRIT.
2. iT IS FOLLY AND WORSE to attempt to stay delivered, freed from bondage, oppression, demonic harrassment without maintaining a strong relationship with Jesus.
3. I personally do not believe that there’s per se a magic formula. Certainly JESUS’ NAME AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS are powerful . . . however, the anointing on the life of the deliverer is very important. Sometimes fasting is important. Certainly humility, discernment etc. are important.
4. I do not believe that rote rituals are very effective. The enemy loves rituals and to mock the rituals.
5. Scripture mentions in one context . . . that God does things . . . NOT BY POWER, NOT BY MIGHT BUT BY MY SPIRIT, SAYS THE LORD.
6. Yet, in another place, Scripture decries the form of godliness that denies the real power of authentic Godliness and walking with God intimately.
7. Certainly, relentlessly asserting that THE BLOOD OF JESUS COMES AGAINST YOU. I RESIST YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS. I SEND YOU TO THE FEET OF JESUS FOR HIS DECREE ON YOU. etc. in faith and confidence out of an authentic relationship with Jesus can be powerful.
8. Scripture says that we are to resist the enemy and he will then flee from us. Usually we need to resist him a few times more than he persists in plaguing us. And he’s usually better at being relentless than we are.
It is also important to keep in mind that all such forces are
liars by nature.
It is usually useless to get into dialogues with them. They are usually deceptive and seductive and love to lead folks on wild goose chases and into convoluted confusions.
