President Obama has all but quit smoking,... That's as close as a democrat can get to telling the truth without being struck by lightning.

Gibbs is a special kind of person who can lie day after day. Any other man would die from guilt. He, like Barry have no soul.

Nobody has all but quit smoking. You either have not quit smoking, or you have quit smoking.

Didn’t I just reply to a thread about O smoking up a storm at the WH? I guess he is one of those guys who quits smoking in between cigarettes.

Quitting is easy. I did it several times. It didn’t finally take until I had been smoking for 19 years and “quitting” for 10.

“all but quit smoking” means... he ain’t quit smoking... he just hides it. THEY NEVER TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT ANYTHING... EVER!

I have a neighbor who says the same thing.
He no longer buys any cigarettes-—now he bums them from others at random.
But- he is still smoking. And lying about ‘quitting’.

My husband smoked for many years, since his teens. When he was in his early thirties, and our son was three months old (first child), he got really sick and didn’t smoke for three days.
He never took it up again.

Did he claim he’s no longer smoking . . . or just that he’s no longer smoking tobacco?

I quit cold turkey in March of 1986.
The company I worked for furnished a new Chevy Caprice for me to drive and I couldn’t bring myself to smoke in it.

You can’t “all but quit” smoking. Weak kneed, lillie livered, quivering mass of cowardice can’t quit and that’s fine with me.

Captain Zero is on medication for severe depression. Some antidepressants help to eliminate some of the craving for nicotine. If nothing else Fibbs is confirming the president is being medicated.
