Our state has lost over $100 million just in tghe past few days, due to crop damage. The last time it was this cold was back in the 19th Century when they started keeping records.

Been having major ‘puter problems for over a week now. Shuts down, won’t restart, lost all my bookmarks, got it running long enough to run a back-up file. Transferred bunch of files to thumb-drives.
mrsdd says for my birthday I’m gettin’ a new laptop. WOOHOO!!!
Cold wind blowing around here with lotsa rain. Had to drain some water out of the pool this afternoon. Only thing missing is snow, but summer’s acomin.

Yep!!!!! Got in at 9pm on December 26th... spent two days doing laundry and coming down off of my high.

And today was the worst. I found out my sweet sister has breast cancer. I’ve spent a lot of time in tears today.
Pray for her. Her name is Barbara and she is 79. Not the sissy I was with for Christmas.

Well, it has warmed up a bit, and some of the snow has melted - but I am still having to tap the branches of my favorite tree with a broom handle, to release some of the weight.
There are some major accidents on the main highway (I-17) and it is closed. So is 89A in the Canyon (the route from Sedona to Flagstaff).
They are reporting that the roads may not be opened until tomorrow afternoon.
We are still having intermittent snow - with those BIG flakes (the size of silver dollars).
