Yep!!!!! Got in at 9pm on December 26th... spent two days doing laundry and coming down off of my high.
Amazing how you have a downer after a lot of fun, isn’t it!

And today was the worst. I found out my sweet sister has breast cancer. I’ve spent a lot of time in tears today.

Pray for her. Her name is Barbara and she is 79. Not the sissy I was with for Christmas.

Polly, I always get sorta down after Christmas. Thats why I haven't taken down my decorations yet. I was going to do that today and then I had to fool with a plumber and then he called the City....it was the City's fault concerning the sewer. When it rains, it pours. I had the plumber last Thursday and actually if he had found my problem then, I wouldn't be going through this mess today. I went to bed at 2 and got up at 6 and I'm worn to a thread.

I am so sorry about your precious sister, Barbara. That breast cancer can be fought and your sister can win if all goes well. Breast cancer has touched me. I had 2 aunts who had it and they both lived through it and lived a long life. They each had a breast removed. I had a good friend who had the same surgery and she beat that thing and is now living a comfortable life. My friend's was about 15 years ago. I will remember you and Barbara in my prayers daily and you keep us informed!!!
