LOL! I noticed that right after I hit "Send", but since it was already an edit of the post I had juswt sent, I let it stand.
"juswt" :)
LOL
Thanks, Yorkie.
Didn’t I say that I’m ready for spring? :)
‘fraid the snow will return tomorrow. I was so happy to receive that new graphic from Lori and I didn’t want to save it until next summer.
I think it was Jaycee that said she wanted to post snow graphics in the summer and summer graphics in the winter. :)
Hope you are having a Terrific Thursday.
Our teacher asked us what our favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken." She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, everyone else in the class laughed.
My parents told me to always be truthful and honest, and I am. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. He said they love animals very much. I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef.
Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed too. Then he told me not to do it again.
The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was. I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, just like she'd asked the other children. So I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken. She sent me back to the principal's office again. He laughed, and told me not to do it again.
I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am. Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what famous person we admire most.
I told her, "Colonel Sanders".
Guess where I am now...

Thanks for the link, Gail. This is wonderful.
How horrible, Gail.
Several years ago, my son had frozen pipes that burst over Christmas. He was here for Christmas and found the mess after being away for a week. The insurance covered all the work needed in his kitchen, dining room and living room.
He now sets his thermostat low when he leaves, even for a few days.
Hope you can get this cleaned up soon; it is an awful time to be worrying about this.
I 'juswt' had to answer this....LOL! My computer underlined that word to try to correct it for me and I can't talk back!
The joke was funnier today than when I sent it! LOL! And your graphic is so pretty! Makes me want some delicious fried chicken, darn it!
I’m going to try to get back a bit later. I am vacuuming the living room carpet....just vacuumed the furniture (Christmas cleaning). I have to rest a bit before I do the carpet! What a job! I’m not fond of housework as I get older! At one time, it was a joy!

LOL..Love it!
I have work to do, too..so I must shut down and get to it!

OH, Thank you for that link, Johnn. That little girl is precious. I loved watching it; I’ll probably watch it again before sending it out via email.
BTW: I’ll have the Corn Beef Hash as I enjoy that fun window.
Have a Terrific Thursday.
Johnn, that was the very BEST! What a doll! And how brilliant she was! Thanks for the happy smile today!
Good morning, Mayor. Are you still getting snow? I think we should get some rain this weekend.
Thank you for bringing coffee and sharing the scripture lesson with us every morning.
Have a Terrific Thursday.
Corn beef it is and that view out the window is one of the reasons I’m a writer, I tend to see things in more ‘interesting’ ways then some folks! ;^)
So frisk me... and smile at me
Smell me as you dump my pee
Scold me like you think I am dope
cause I'm leaving... on the next train
won't fly... to heck with your plane
Oh Gabe, I really hate your grope
jaycee: You stole that song from my graphic!
fewz: Yeah, I did. I was over in the fruits and vegetables when I heard the cat singing that lyric and just had to have it. Know what I mean, Ms J?
jaycee: Well, I knew that you were a tune thief but I didn't know that you were also a lyric lifter.
The juke box starts playing: The Streak
fewz: Shoot fire.... I not only take tunes and lift lyrics, I've have also been known to abscond avatars. Ms Billie can attest to that. But, like they say on American Idol: I make them my own.
jaycee: Well, I guess it's better to be engaged in stuff like that than politics. You steal puny and they steal money. Teacher, teacher ain't that funny?
The juke box starts playing a Christmas song: Good King Wenceslas
jaycee: What do you want Santa Claus to bring you this year?
fewz: I know what I'll probably get since I've been bad. A sack of switches or a lump of coal. You know what I got one time when I was a kid?
jaycee: No idea.
fewz: We had been studying about Dutch kids setting their shoes out at Christmas and we had been singing: "The Twelve Days of Christmas". So, we decided to set our shoes out for twelve nights before Christmas.
jaycee: Did you get anything in your shoe?
fewz: Yep. Got a great big sweet potato the very first night. Wasn't really what I had in mind.
The juke box starts playing: Take an Old Cold Tater and Wait
fewz: Is Ms K a.k.a. yorkie coming in today?
jaycee: I'm not sure. Why?
fewz: I was wondering if she was attending the briefing.
jaycee: What briefing?
fewz: The one that Magic Johnson is giving on attacking the Death Star.
fewz: I heard that NASA is making some kind of announcement today. Wonder if it has anything to do with Nibiru.
jaycee: What is Nibiru?
fewz: Aw you know... Planet X.
Always glad to share a happy smile, especially one so moving.
Here is a very timely song, considering the world today!
Very tongue in cheek!!!!!

That is great, Gail.
It is funny but so true.
Have a Happy Holiday Season. :)
Good one, LOL
