I was minding my business at the coffee counter, filling my to go cup and thinking of the two hour drive to Mom's for Thanksgiving when my wife sidled up to me and said--your #$@*@#%* son is a smart ass. I already know this...he is fifteen and stupid, which is lucky for me. I chuckled. She asked why I chuckled. Without thinking I told her that as long as he is in trouble I can not be...I got one of those looks.
