Free Republic is a pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty constitutional conservative activist web site. Those who cannot live with that should simply stay away!! (saves wear and tear on my zot button - bitterly clinging redneck, Jim)
Romney is an unrepentant abortionist/statist lying political whore! Just to be absolutely clear, there will never ever be a RINO Romney campaign on FR!! If he somehow becomes the nominee, FR will be running a full-time campaign to DEFEAT him!! If you wish to support him then I suggest you sign off FR and onto Wankers for Mitt!!
Those statments make me worry that FreeRepublic is moving toward a DemocratUnderground kind of stance toward their users. Romney may have done some mistakes like Health Car but I have constantly heard him say that universal helath care was a mistake. If I'm wrong, so what. Lets not kick good Republicans off this site because of their views on abortion and Mitt Romney. Look, if someone says something good about Romney, fine. State your point and try to change that person's views. We are not kicking them off the site! That is DemocratUnderground style dumb. It's what they do.
Another NEWT TROLL!
Well maybe ill mannered posters should stay at home.
I thought she was married to him! Geez!
You should buy lottery tickets or find some way to make money with that mind-reading talent of yours.
What are you talking about? In 2007, a bunch of Giuliani fetishists ignored warning after warning from the owner of this site and got kicked off to form their pathetic little Wideawakes site. The thread in which Mr. Robinson stated his fervent opposition to Giuliani for president is the longest I ever recall here. The Wideawakes whined, bawled, insulted, and argued. Every several threads somebody got zotted.
I'm a cranky old man, but I've always been treated well here by the owners of the site. When I encounter nasty, abrasive people who want to argue that apples are grapes, I try to ignore them. That hasn't changed since I've been here dating to 1998. A glitch made me re-register in 1999.
I see very little difference. If anything we have more liberals and statists and clowns and trolls.
Jim is very patient, but those that don't heed his warnings are not so wise, and he is giving a lot of notice this time.
Don’t need to. I was checking your posting history. Around 2007 and 2008.
Thank heavens there are some reasonable people around here.
Good post.
You are the biggest BS’er. It’s obvious, just so you know.
What conservative was running in ‘08 besides Hunter who dropped out because of non exposure? NONE!
Don’t say it was conservatives fault. If you want to stay credible don’t lie about the things we lived through.
And, personally, you are only here because conservatives want SARAH and you don’t. WE DON’T NEED YOUR ADVICE and I’d advising dropping the “WE”. That game has been shot down.
His posts scream of it.
I wish we were allowed one zot each on these MittPimpPushers.
Although I do evolve my positions; I don't know everything, and I am listening for people to persuade me they know better than I or have a better position than me. My opinions are based on the facts as I know them, not the other way around. And issues are different from philosophy -- there are times when applying philosophy can lead to different positions on some issues depending on which aspects of your philosophy are more important.
But in a conservative forum like this, I really doubt there are more than a few issues where such would be the case.
Yeah. He has defended him. Even against proof that he’s pro-choice and pro-homosexual.
I would imagine the Fred Thompson supporters would disagree with you. But regardless, losing the only conservative you knew for non-exposure, and having no other conservative running, certainly sounds like a real problem; what's the point of an election if you can't get anybody you like to even run for the office?
You can bury your head in the sand and pretend that conservatives had nothing to do with a conservative candidate not existing. Whose fault is it that conservatives didn't support Hunter? Did the liberals brainwash all the conservatives? Was it magic or something?
Whose fault do you think it was, if you want to wash your hands of the blame?
Since I support Sarah Palin, it seems rather absurd for you to claim I am "here" because I don't.
You can hit abuse on any post.
The reason that I didn’t know what went on is because I wasn’t reading any of those threads, or I was on vacation or something. I just somehow missed the whole thing.
The hair! For goodness sakes, don't forget the hair!
I like the way you are abusing yourself better.
I’ve also found Jim to be longsuffering. And frankly, a lot of those rudy folks were looking to get banned. It was like suicide by cop.
And you're not ashamed to say so publicly?
