The poll itself is flawed, because it ASSUMES that if Brandy hadn’t been cut, Bristol would have been. The show was very clear that the two remaining on stage were not necessarily the bottom two, unlike American Idol, where they always put the bottom two vote-getters out on stage to face off against each other. They just had Bristol out there because they know it creates more drama if she’s in the last group - people assume she must be in the bottom two and then they’re shocked - SHOCKED - when she doesn’t get cut.
I bet she’s leading the voting by a long shot.

So far 76% against Bristol.
I don’t watch but my wife does. Seems that the voting is done by the public and of course can be skewed by large and repeated voting blocks but it seems overall that to use their own phrase “America has spoken”. It’s just a fluff show you morons who are complaining about her staying.
Palin is simply not a dancer...Too bad the judges didn't take the bull by the horns. Palin should have been gone ages ago.

Never watched, don’t intend to do so. But seriously, how many folks of a conservative bent are the kind to cast a talent show vote based on political preferences rather than the quality of the performance? Libs, yes, but us, not so much.
DWTS has been one of the better shows on TV over the last several years and I don’t really picture Bristol Palin competing with some of the people who’ve looked good on the thing. No political group is doing themselves any favors by monkeying with this one.

Wow, who knew the voting on these things didn’t necessarily pick the person with the most talent? I’m....shocked. Next Ms. Gutierrez will assert that the election of Class President is really a popularity contest.
However, with that said...the writer of the article needs to deal with it. It is only a stupid TV show, not anything significant. And, when it comes to things not "fair" as most of life is not fair, anyway...
Remember this: Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace prize for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO PROMOTE PEACE. And he didn't even dance. (Oh, I forgot, he is half black, so we can't complain that prize certainly wasn't fair, can we?) Maybe Brandy just should have said she was a great dancer, and promised to do the best...that is the way Barack won.
