Never watched, don’t intend to do so. But seriously, how many folks of a conservative bent are the kind to cast a talent show vote based on political preferences rather than the quality of the performance? Libs, yes, but us, not so much.

It’s part of the conspiracy. People post the phone number here when it’s time, and we are all freeping the poll, just like any other poll.

Lots of conservatives who don’t even watch the show are voting for Palin. It’s how it’s done. You can bet that if she had been voted our early, the left would have made political hay of it.

I don’t know if there are enough conservatives doing this to overcome the votes of people who are judging the dancers on merit. It’s easier to defend a contestant when there are multiple contestants being voted on, but as the serious votes move to fewer remaining serious candidates, it gets harder.

On the other hand, from what i’ve heard Jennifer is the only really good dancer of the three left, while the other two are both popularity votes. So the question is, do the conservatives have a bigger vote than the disney folks?
