Glen Beck is Scaring the Poo out of Me
The Glen Beck Show | 11/8/2010 | MsLady

Posted on 11/08/2010 3:03:43 PM PST by MsLady

Ok, normally I can handle what Glen has to say. But, what he's been saying the past 2 weeks is scaring the cr*p out of me. Has anyone else been watching him? And does anyone have any feedback on what he's been saying. I honestly don't know enough about economics to gage if what he's saying is far fetched of if our world is on the edge of complete collapse.

I do realize we are living in the days before Christ return and I believe what he says will happen at some point. I would just like some feedback. And a really big pacifier...lol

I guess I have heard about how the US is going ti&* up too many times to be buying it fully. But I would say there is no problem with getting prepared.
What is more likely then outright wars in the streets is a slow economic fizzle, a lot like G.B. has had. I have no problem with being prepared, so long as it is items I can use now or can look at as an investment.
Personally I have the following Survivalist items in line...

Seeds, I do this every year. Est. Cost $80.
Apple Trees. 115 bench grafts. Est. Cost $1100.
Wood Stove. Probably $800 to 1200 installed.
Silver eagles.

I was also thinking about a savage 270, a PTO generator.

On the other side of the coin, I am buying a rental house. With interest and prices the lowest I’ve seen in years. So with the majority of my money I am investing in the future.

If Glen is right, I will be more prepared then most.
If he is wrong I will have prepared with Items I can use today.

(posted something similar on another thread)

George Soros’ currency manipulation/destruction of productive, capitalist nations will ultimately cause catastrophic inflation, global hunger and millions of deaths. He should be considered a genocidal maniac and stopped.

Governments are complicit in his terror tactics if they think he is just a greedy speculator. He has enough money for personal comfort - his motive is not greed - it is the mark of a diabolical tyrant.

Controlled decline

Thanks, that was it. Hearing about Bam overseas today making that decline comment piqued my interest; and at the same time made me question "What the hell are they up to, right now?"

Also, anyone else notice our Gov't taking odd trips under the guise of diplomacy?
Hillary was in a "Why the hell is she there" country recently. My first thought, a meeting off-shores with God only knows who and for what.

You are in desperate need of a life.

Because I'm able to notice when folks write like idiots?

That's a bad thing, right? We should ignore it? Accept it?

Spell stuff any way you like, it's all good right?

Thank you, it takes us old fogies that lived through that time for a prescriptive. Thats a good reason to avoid death panels, a sense of history and what went on before is necessary and I thank the powers that be for inside plumbing and a flush toilet. Its the little things to be grateful for....:O)

Also during that time we had Viet nam and when our boys came home they were called baby killers....I am grateful that people and vets won't let that happen again. God Bless them all

Being conservative at that time, you thought you were the only one cause all you got from TV was leftist democrat crap...

You should be scared. The current President of the United States is deliberately attempting to bankrupt America and destroy the private sector economy.

Why would anyone not be scared?

Hahahha! I love Glenn, but I can only take small doses! He is heavy! I do think, however, that he is the Thomas Paine of our day. A true Patriot.

I can’t spell, never have, not my strength, but, if you want to spend your time being petty, go right ahead.

Food and not freezing would be my first priority. Look at your systems and figure out what you would do without power. What would you do instead? How will you cook your food? Where will your water come from? Can it be sanitized so that it won’t make you sick.

Silver and ammo would be on my list after I figured out how I was going to live after the feces hit the fan.

Guns, ammo and silver can all be taken away with enough force.

I can not speak to all commodities but cotton prices are up because the supply over the last few years has declined. The supply out there now is about equal to demand. That may change in the future time will tell. Sugar prices are up because of a legal ruling on roundup ready sugar beet seeds http://powelltribune.com/index.php/content/view/3108/58/
which will affect the supply of sugar. The wheat price is because of a terrible wheat crop in Russia which halted wheat exports. Cotton and wheat prices will trend down next year I am sure but sugar may take awhile.

Rumors abound about 11/11. Dunno why that date.

Because people are into numerology as a preferable superstition.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Well actually how many times have so many key members of the an administration been out of the country at the same time???

George Soro’s is on tape stating the global order needs a controlled decline of the US dollar it is all tied together.

Historic times for sure. Our children and grandchildren will have questions for all of us on the other side of this mess.
