Hello!

The dust is still settling after the large election upheaval last Tues. The post mortems continue.

I think Bob Tyrrell's piece gave me the biggest laugh, tho: he described Dems in denial, unable to leave their leadership offices and posts, and the Rs having to use stun guns and the like to move them.

I'll link it below.

Good morning. We noticed a lot of homes for sale in the Skaneateles area and other areas. It looks like no one can afford the waterfront property/school taxes and mortgages.

Here's a funny. Greg told me about the dream he had last night. He was on a job south of home and Obama was "organizing" the job. Greg stood nose to nose with Obama telling him that he doesn't know squat about the job or anything for that matter. It went on for quite a while. :))

Thank you for the links.

Even in his dreams, Greg is spot-on.

Fred may be a good choice, but remember Fred Flintone’s daughter is BamBam.

Looks so good, think I will have my ceral (dry) and one more cup of coffee.

We need to offer BamBam to one of those nations he is visiting and at no charge, would say that would be a good deal but, it is BamBam..

It is COLD out this morning, sun is shinning but does not help. Suppose to warm up a tad and maybe that will help. I am not a fan of cold weather, not at all.

STart doing my process of getting ready for church and can assure you, coat worn today....

I thought Bam Bam was a Rubble (Barney’s kid) and Pebbles was a Flintstone (Fred and Wilma’s daughter).

Apropo of nothing: I am reading and hearing that Caligula’s trip to Indo may be scrubbed because Merapi is erupting.

Gang, this makes no sense to me. Jakarta, where Caligula was heading, is to the WEST of Gunung Merapi. When things get into the atmosphere, they head EAST. It has to do with the way the earth rotates and where the sun shines and junk like that. Gunung Merapi is not only to the east but it is several HUNDREDS OF MILES to the east. I do not understand how volcanic ash would be dissapating that far west.

This is, if you will, a smokescreen about him traveling to Indo. I don’t know why, but he doesn’t want to go there.

That sounds like a good title for a book...Jemian's sink. I love it!....Hmmm....let me take a crack at the opening line:

Although it was Saturday, Jeff was headed back to his office for his laptop. It had been a long week. One of those weeks that had 8 or 9 days. His car radio was playing a Mark Levin repeat, but he paid no attention to the rant about some new law. He was thinking only of Jemian's sink. .....[to be continued]

Next graf:
He paused, with the Comet in one hand and the Chlorox in the other, trying to remember his high school chemistry. Covalent bonds? Prevalent blondes? He hadn't paid all that much attention, and who could remember all of that stuff -- although the repeated warnings of 'gassing oneself inadvertantly' rung a faint warning bell in the far reaches of his well-meaning but practicality-challenged consciousness...

Jemian's sink.
Jemian's sink.

It was there in the foggy memory of year's past. He could tell it was important. He couldn't tell much else except he was very young when he last heard it.

Jemian's sink.
Jemian's sink.

Wouldn't go away. It clanged in his head like one of those oldies songs of the 50's.

Was it in his high school yearbook? That's it.....now where did I put it?

Jeff was a pretty good artist in his day and on a whim, he grabbed a pencil and a sheet of paper and attempted to record his thoughts.

Soon there emerged a sink. An antique wooden sink. His grandmother’s prized possession. That must be Jemian’s sink, he thought—but he couldn’t place the Jemian just yet.

He kept drawing
