Unidentified object [in cargo hold] forces emergency landing in Mumbai

A Delta Airlines flight carrying 244 passengers from Amsterdam to Mumbai on Thursday night landed in emergency conditions at the airport in Mumbai due to an unidentified object in the plane’s cargo-hold.

I'm almost betting that Obama cancels his trip because he is a coward. He will blame it on the volcano in Indonesia.

Ya don’t inspect the cargo hold once you are in the air.

Perhaps it was parts of the bomb proof ‘tunnel’ being constructed for our potentate’s arrival. Unfreakenbelievable. This man won’t even go visit our troops in Iraq or Afghanistan..yet he is spending A BILLION DOLLARS of our money to visit India and see The Festival Of Lights!

Perhaps they were 80% of the way there when someone in Amsterdam re-checked the manifest and realized that they had all but ONE piece of checked luggage matched to butts in seats.
Or perhaps some of the chickens or goats got loose ;-)

I'm still pondering over the fact that his two girls were originally not going on the trip, but now, all of a sudden, they are. They and a small “city” of “others”, including 34 war ships.
There's just something too strange about this whole thing.

Officials became concerned after a Delta staffer at the airport in Amsterdam alerted them to the presence of the unidentified package.
Perhaps it would have been good to have this information prior to the plane to leaving the gate? Just saying...
