a Perriello campaigner handed me a sample ballot, and in return, I handed him a teabag that I brought with me

LMAO!

Have to agree re yard signs ‘10 vs. ‘08. The ONLY Moran signs I’ve seen have been on public roads, nary a yard. And I am deep into his blue turf in Alexandria.

Tom Perriello supporters extremely amiable. I was pleasantly surprised by their politeness as you can see in this VIDEO.

Far SW Ninth: watcher said average to heavy turnout

Liberal reports here: http://notlarrysabato.typepad.com/doh/2010/11/election-day-open-thread.html

They seem to be “small wave” reports- hope there’s some wishful thinking...

Just checked on my heavily blue precinct @3:00. It is still dead. Mr. Moran may be surprised tonight.

Just got in...I noted that in order to get to the place that I would vote at, had I been a resident of VA, I’d have to drive past two other voting places, unless I took funky backroads...LOL

Crowds were heavy at all three places...signage looked good though...and I should note that the local rock station played one political commercial while I was out, and it was for Murray. :)
