Too many gubmint parasites in the 8th, unfortunately. It’s why I was paying close attention to the legislative returns last year to see if there were any cracks in that region, but sadly, there weren’t. :-|

In my precinct the parasites appear to have lost interest in this cycle. No lines. However, the veterans and older voters are out. Keep your fingers crossed.

Good luck, VA, from an Army wife who lives here, but votes in her own home of record. I’ll be taking my kiddos to the library this afternoon, will check on the crowd levels. :)

Hopefully so. If we get Moran’s district, we may very well get 100 seats tonight.

Did you look into your Krystal Ball? ;)

Uh, that could get me into some trouble. ;-)

Will report later from the heart of the Republic of Falls Church. We have our Murray/Retire Moran yard signs out in a very high traffic area ... I’m surprised our house hasn’t been egged.

Last I heard Moran verbally accosted an elderly gentleman handing out Murray literature at the metro stop. How anyone could vote for such a pathetic violent loser is beyond me. We will be at the Murray victory party come what may ...

Thank you! Rob Wittman (R) won’t face much of a contest today here in conservative VA-1, but I know there are other districts in the Old Dominion I will be praying for.

This is Liberation Day across the Nation... if we want it badly enough!

Moran only verbally accosted someone ? Gee whiz, usually that psychopath needs a Black child to choke before he has his breakfast.

Waiting in line this morning for polls to open here in Newport News. Ten people ahead of me when doors opened. Only one race (Bobby Scott's gerrymandered district) and three state amendments on the ballot, but I wanted to make a statement anyway.

Note: Bobby Scott must be nervous, because I received an automated call from his campaign for the very first time. Dems are really scared of the People this time around!

VA-2, Virginia Beach. Light turnout at 8:30 in Republican heavy precinct. Mostly seniors and employed voters. Low minority turnout. No young voters.

Voted in Stafford this AM (VA 1). Very conservative county in a very conservative dustrict. Was there shortly after the polls opened (abt. 6:10 AM). Turnout seemed decent for a midterm. I was about tenth in line. Alot of people here vote early before the long commute to NoVA/DC. Needless to say, I voted against Krystal “party girl” Ball.

I’m sure that the district that I live in is on your prayer list. I’ve seen plenty of Fimian signs in my neighborhood (including my own yard), but once you leave my neighborhood, the Connolly signs are out. The sign bandits (as my little girl calls them) have in a few places boxed in Fimian signs on the medians on major roads. My little girl’s logic is that the sign spam makes you ignore all the matching signs, and take notice of the different one in the middle, like a picture frame. :) I like the way she thinks.

So, I just looked it up to see where I would vote, if I were actually a VA resident. I would have to drive past the cozy library and go out to the County government complex. YUCK!

I don’t have an article to post, but I’m a “fan” of our local newspaper on Facebook, and they just posted the following:

“BREAKING NEWS: Shots fired at Coast Guard recruiting office in Potomac Circle.”

If it turns out to be true, this will make the 4th military related shooting 1) Marine Corps Museum 2) Pentagon 3) Marine Corps Recruiting Station in Chantilly and now this.

I pray it was a mistake this time, and maybe someone heard a car backfire and thought it was a gun... please let it be that.

GWO - reporting for de-brief...
Went to appointed point of engagement, was successful in excuting objective through electronic means (so no sabotage of mission). My aide-de-camp (my 86 yr old father) provided back up and reinforcement.
No suspicious activity to report...alongwith no “enemy’ signs in evidence (hmmm)...
Mission accomplished...will stand by for damage reports this PM.
