Good evening!
Election Week has arrived, and with it we hope ~~real hope ~~ the beginning of a return to sanity.
So many races to follow after many days of effort.
I think that with very few exceptions we can be proud of our side and the campaigns waged on principle and ideas, and many small contributions from many different sources. It's been amazing!
Republican Scott Walker called winner for guv!!!!!!!
I am so glad that you were able to make contact with the potential buyer. I hope she realizes soon that many, many parents co-sign home loans with their kids. It isn’t unusual and has happened through several generations.
It doesn’t look to me like the pubbie gains are quite as large as many expected. CNN says that the pubs will take the House (no more Pelosi in charge). But the Senate still looks questionable.
No reports yet from Iowa.
Good.
R’s are slogging along to retake the House. FoxNews projects they’ll have 60+ seat pick up. The senate is a different matter, I’m thinking now we’ll only pick up 5-6. Perhaps if that.
Gubernatorials seem to be going well for R’s. Barney Frank will continue to retain his office on Capital Hill, spit!
It doesn’t look particularly good in CO for the governor or senate race either. I always have too high hopes in PA, they always disappoint me. You’d think I’d learn...
Th FL governor race looks good for Scott and not for Sink, which is good.
Alan Grayson was defeated but it was disappointing in W VA when Manchin took it.
Sheesh Geraldine Ferraro is on FoxNews with Palin.
I haven’t seen that about O’Donnell and the independent vote. Will have to look further.
Speaking of independents......pttui.
Listen, lysie, banks are being very slow and careful with financing these days..it's hard, but stay optimistic.
We have friends who applied for a loan months ago...they want the house, the seller wants to sell, but they were getting very discouraged.
The buyers and seller almost agreed to let our friends move in anyway and start paying rent...there were school transfer issues making the move by a certain time imperative also.
Finally the deal is going thru this week, it sounds like.
Foxnews keeps showing Bransted checked off as the winner, but his numbers are below Culver.
??
Also, I can’t find anything about your race on that website, even with a search for your district. Dang it.
I’m frustrated with news about Gran, too. There are returns for every other race that I see, but now Senate #45.
Did you see that Toomey has overtaken Sestak now? May he keep the momentum!
Fox now announcing for Ron Johnson. Congrats
Woohoo, also calling for Nikki Haley in S.C.
Thanks, pb.
BUH-BYE RUSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greg was thinking of renting to the couple with the idea that they would continue to seek a mortgage.
Yippee!
Well, perhaps I was too harsh in my prior comment regarding PA. Corbett took the governorship in the state, I believe. If Toomey can overtake and win, I will do a special Pennsylvaia Snoopy Dance.
Jack Spratt went splat.
Toomey’s up by 17K at the moment. They’re still counting.
Still no word on IG. 0% precients reporting.
Dang, Ryan Frazier also down in CO. Hope it’s because CO Springs votes aren’t counted yet.
