With now-former NPR analyst Juan Williams suitably splattered across the evening news after politically incorrect comments he made on Fox News, Schiller can return to her real passion – the creation of a national network to ensure that in the future, you get your news from the government in general and NPR in particular.

NPR was born of a time when the Federal Government ran little to no deficits. It was a child of luxury.
With the staggering amount of public debt now accumulated...We the People nee to start making decisions about which Federal luxuries and toys will continue to be funded. Its called being “adult” about the situation we’re in.

Ms. Schiller can’t be happy that her mask slipped so badly before her plans bore fruit.
It’s funny that leftists seem to know instinctively that their ideas can’t compete in a market place; so they’re always plotting to have them involuntarily subsidized by people that disagree with them.
Can't see I see the point of that. But what is fun is to be very friendly to the gals you encounter on the street, just to see if you can make them "drop the veil" a bit. Winks usually are good for a muffled giggle.

It is still out there. Just about every city has an affiliate. Sometimes many. Usually at the low end of the FM dial.
I used to listen. I can’t now because I am always waiting for some stupid bias and the “I told you so” moment. Same reason why I don’t read the newspaper.
PBS...
If you have a kid, then chances are good that you have watched PBS. Some pretty weird shows but probably stimulating if you are a kid.
That is the point, they want to create a media environment that we will ALL be forced to watch or listen to public broadcasting — whose set up is being partially financed by Soros — for our news.
