I nearly choked on my coffee when I read that Obama thinks Pelosi will go down as one of the finest speakers in the U.S. Whatever he's drinking I don't want any. It makes people delusional. Reid must drink the same. Why else would he think that "but for him" we'd be in a depression?

I am sorry you are going through this Nita.. you had a large family & there is usually one among a group to add “interest”.
My brother wants me to have all here.. He has said that repeatedly over the years & also after mom died. He appreciates what I have done for a LONG time with minimal input from him.
But we must go through probate. The home is the only thing of value in her estate. I had toyed with the idea of transferring ownership to me while she was still living but just didn’t get around to it. Would have made things easier.
it is a nice piece of real estate abutting the national park & home ... but the home has so much deferred maintenance that getting $$ out in this market at this time is not expected.
Unfortunately we are in one of the highest property tax areas in NE Ohio & the utilities on a home of 2400 sq feet are high, as you all know.
I know you & I shared a very common journey in so many respects. Like so many things in life you must have been there to truly know..thanks for your note

Yea, 6 of us directly involved. The “interest” one is co-executress of the estate along with me.
She can’t understand why I have not started moving out and can’t be out by Dec at the latest....will provisions state I have 365 days to relocate.
She wants to pour $ into the house before it goes on the market....house is in much same condition as yours...no one else wants to go this way as we understand the housing market conditions right now AND the selling point is the property (a corner lot) NOT the house.
Personally, I think she has flipped her lid...as do others.
She’d make things easier if she would just buy the rest of us out and then she can have it, lock, stock and barrell...LOL.
I am SO in touch with what you are going through PatriotSister. I’m so sorry for that hole in your life that will never fill. You will recall and cry less and less, but the loss will be felt forever. I always tell my friends, “I know we ALL go through it, but it still sucks.” Big hugs and know your FRiends are totally with you in spirit.

I am. When i am not reading Bill Bennett or any other poli type guy, I read any kind of mystery or thriller I can. Vince Flynn is in the same mold as James PAtterson IMHO. Mitch Rapp is a great character along the lines of Alex Cross and Reacher.
The election coming up on Tuesday is much more important and fundamental than whether or not we will have fiscal responsibility. The choice is whether our lives belong to us or to the government. As a matter of fact, I think this should be the slogan that the Republicans run on: "Your life belongs to you, not to the government.";-))
