By my count, it's 22 days till E-Day, and President 0 may very well scold us campaign event by campaign event all the way there....this from someone who already was over-exposed 6 months ago.....
But....I'm thinking the Dems wish he would really, really shut up, so for the good of the country we conservatives will be tough, and say, "Scold away!"
I'm livid over 0's remarks about the Chamber of Commerce and just as upset at the media for not delving into his contributors.

It’s been four weeks, and hubby is progressing as expected. He still has some discomfort and can’t sleep in a bed yet, but he’s driving short distances and showering and dressing by himself. He gets a little frustrated at the things he can’t do, but is pretty good natured in general.
Best part is that we can now go out to dinner, and I’m not cooking as much!

Some questions to ponder:
if the republicans win huge margins in November, I mean way beyond even the most extreme expectations, and
since Caligula is leaving the country immediately after the elections for something like 10 days,
and knowing his increasingly and erradictic narcissitic behaviour,
WHAT might be the possibilities that he would simply not come back?
How could that be done?
What would be the constitutional rammifications of such a bizarre action?
I know. I’m a dreamer. I really think this is beyond the realm of possibilities.

I was sitting on the couch looking out the window and lamenting in my mind how many less birds there are now when a whole flock of bluebirds landed in the ash trees in the front yard. Hard to tell how many because they were flying back and forth too much to tell, but I would guess about 20. I seem to remember them doing this last year also. Gathering before leaving. It was nice to get to see them one more time. I haven’t really seen any bluebirds in the yard for weeks.

I’m talking about a scenario where Caligula is still alive, but just deserts his post. He is a coward. He is narcissitic. He is so deluded about his own greatness that he doesn’t comprehend why we think he is a failure.
Wouldn’t it have to be processed in some way through Congress?
It would indeed create a constitutional crisis of never-before-seen-or-considered proportions. Scary.

I believe he would. If a president is unable to perform his duties, the VP takes his place. I think playing hooky applies. Even when P’s have been temporarily incapacitated(i.e. surgery) V.P.’s have temporarily been put in charge. Johnson was sworn in on the airplane back to Washington. The position of VP was created for this purpose. What would be processed through congress is replacing the VP, as when Ford took over Nixon’s VP(name escapes me). So, as I said we would have a moron instead of a marxist :)

In the cases of the operations, that was planned before hand, in the case of Johnson, Kennedy was definitely dead. But there was a case in the early 20th century when the President was very ill, maybe had a stroke, and he wouldn’t give up powers. His wife became his spokesperson. I remember seeing some program where representatives of the Congress tried to speak to him or her about it and they got nowhere. Was that Harding?
Anyway, it is just something to think about: suppose Caligula just walks away from the presidency and refuses to give up authority or have anything to do with the US?
