I was sitting on the couch looking out the window and lamenting in my mind how many less birds there are now when a whole flock of bluebirds landed in the ash trees in the front yard. Hard to tell how many because they were flying back and forth too much to tell, but I would guess about 20. I seem to remember them doing this last year also. Gathering before leaving. It was nice to get to see them one more time. I haven’t really seen any bluebirds in the yard for weeks.
Oh! What a beautiful sight that must have been.
