While George is completely out of it, oddly enough, Ringo seems fine. Paul is buzzed, as well as John.
When I was 10 years old, my older brother got me a copy of The “Red” Album - i.e. a greatest hits compilation of the Beatles from 1962-66. I absolutely loved it! To this day, I much prefer the early Beatles’ work to the more experimental stuff that came later on. I’ll take “Ticket to Ride” and “And I Love Her” over “I am the Walrus” or “Strawberry Fields...” any day.
And don’t get me started on Revolution 9...
Wow! That’s almost.....um....unnatural.
...you’d have to be in your 50’s just to remember these guys...
Boy, I’m glad to hear someone else say that. I’ve felt so lonely all these years. I never could stand the Beatles, either. Went from being bubble gum to pushing drugs. Give me the Four Seasons any day of the week!
He was certainly the most ‘centered’ of the bunch at the time. Ol’ Ringo seems to have found his way as of late.
Of all the Beatles, Harrison’s solo work was my favorite.
I also really liked his work with the Traveling Wilburys.

"In truth, John Prine is probably the most universally literate ex-mailman you will ever run into."
Then your lookin’ for Leon Redbone!
Harrison seems a little embarrassed to be forced into lip-syncing a bad song while wearing a pink satin tricorner hat with a green plume.
Vanilla Ice got canned for a far more convincing performance, yet these goofs continued on to be multi-millionaires (all cash kept in brown paper bags).
Were they promoting Magical Mystery at the time or was it Sgt Pepper?
George and Ringo seemed to be the only two who “grew up”. Amazingly, George did get better looking as he grew older. And Ringo is still married to Barbara Bach. Meanwhile, Paul seems to be getting meaner in his old age. Also, I think John looks like a 40 year old housewife with a bad perm in this video.
They don’t look stoned. They look CHEESY and uncomfortable with lipsyncing, which could possibly be the WORST job of syncing I’ve ever seen.
And the inferior cameraman had no idea that one day John would be so important to the fans, as he nearly ignored him completely in the closeups.
“And Ringo is still married to Barbara Bach.”
He’s been “clean and sober” for many years, living happily in a suburb of Lost Angeles.
Yeah, they are only the most commercially AND critically popular band in the history of recorded music, what a bunch of goofs!
Yup! Everyone I know goes away in the end!
So here I am in the Tijuana Jail
Ain't got no frie-ends to go my bail
So here I'll sta-ay cause I can't pa-a-a-a-ay
Just send my ma-ail to the Tijuana Jail

I had a HUGE crush (that lasted for many, many, many years) on Bobby Goldsboro! The only time my parents allowed me to stay up late to watch the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson was when he was on.
Yep, their early stuff was truly rock and roll: Help, I saw her Standing There etc etc
The Bee Gees along with Tommy James and the Shondells are my all time favorite groups.
Ringo looks bored. Is he playing some little kid's drum set, or what?
Now, Tommy James & The Shondells, they were really cool!
