Good evening!
November is Coming!
No doubt we'll have some wavering polls, some naysayer commentators. The MSM will play their usual role trying to pit one group of conservatives against another, promoting controversy, while ignoring the cracks in the Left's facade.
But with essentially one month left, a few hard campaigning weeks and weekends, we'll stay firmly focused on November 2 and stopping a horrendous assault on our Constitution and our Liberties.
November IS coming!
Good Morning IG.
With your scheduled, I can imagine how you wish November is tomorrow. We wish you the best of luck and a super duper win.
Good morning. I like all seasons.
It seems every organization have a few people who do the work instead of everyone chipping in. We have Repub president, here, who shows up for very few executive meetings but gives phone orders what he wants done. He’s being replaced the end of December and a real worker will replace him.
The people of Walmart were alive and well this morning! :)
One thing I worry about are “independent” Republicans. I also would like Republicans to follow Pres. Reagans idea of saying no ill against other Republicans.
Kemah will be having it’s 13th Annual Jazz Festival, Wine Fest. A couple of weeks ago we spent a restful couple of days at the South Shore Harbour Resort. It was nice.
quick good morning & check in!
brrrr.. add me to the list of those who dislike when cold/winter approaches. I conplain about the excessive heat but prefer it over cold & everything outside dormant/dead
busy week-end past at Jazz Festival. Out of touch with world more or less
pretty busy fall planned, of course so much is day to day with my mom. She & her two living sibs have gone down hill drastically this past year. She is 92, younger brother 90 & sister 89.
Sports? Ha in Ohio/cleveland. Browns? Indians?.. we now hope for the Cavalier, but with LeBron gone, that is a big BIG question.
Hope it is a good week for all.
We’re finally getting some nice cool weather. The temp dropped to 54 degrees last night and is supposed to get up to 83 today..hopefully. I love spring, fall and winter. I love the snow, I love the fall colors. In central Texas we have summer then a semi cool summer, it seldom gets good and cold.
Pancakes, just what I want today but, aleady had my fresh two yard eggs so will have tomorrow.
My computer had been kabonked, just got in just a bit ago, sil fixed it for me. I still SAY the invrntion of this century was the blue horse notebook and a nickel pencil....
Nary a cloud in the sky, kinda coolish, so nice this morning, will get busy in a few to do a cleanup job on my ‘shack in the back’.

AMEN! AMEN!
There you are. Good morning.
From the article:
Nonetheless, some Democrats have convinced themselves that they have found the issue with which to salvage 2010. "President Obama's political advisers," reports the New York Times, "are considering a range of ideas, including national advertisements, to cast the Republican Party as all but taken over by tea-party extremists."
Sweet irony. Fear-over-hope rides again, this time with Democrats in the saddle warning darkly about "the Republican tea party" (Joe Biden). Message: Vote Democratic and save the nation from a Visigoth mob with a barely concealed tinge of racism.
First, this is so at variance with reality that it's hard to believe even liberals believe it. The largest tea-party event yet was the recent Glenn Beck rally on the Mall. The hordes descending turned out to be several hundred thousand cheerful folks in what, by all accounts, had the feel of a church picnic. And they left the place nearly spotless - the first revolution in recorded history that collected its own trash.
We had one of them, posing as a concern troll, early on the news side. He got zotted. HA!
Absolutely. I read ten books this summer.
The entire Rio Grande Valley has let out a collective “Ahhhhhhh!” with the decrease in temps and humidity.
I picked a good day to have my carpets cleaned, the windows are open and it’s MUCH less humidity than it has been.
Good morning all. It’s a GREAT TIME to be alive!
Here’s a little smile to brighten your day......Just got this in an email....
WHY I’M DEPRESSED
Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel ,
“Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land.”
Nearly 75 years ago,(when Welfare was introduced) Roosevelt said, “Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land.”
Today, Obama has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!
I was so depressed last night thinking about Health Care Plans, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc . . . I called a Suicide Hotline. I had to press 1 for English. I was connected to a call center in Pakistan . I told them I was suicidal.
They got excited and asked if I could drive a truck......
Have you read Shute’s Trustee from the Toolroom?
Hahahaha!! Sad, but funny!!
