No doubt we'll have some wavering polls, some naysayer commentators. The MSM will play their usual role trying to pit one group of conservatives against another, promoting controversy, while ignoring the cracks in the Left's facade.

But with essentially one month left, a few hard campaigning weeks and weekends, we'll stay firmly focused on November 2 and stopping a horrendous assault on our Constitution and our Liberties.

Update on the injured 15-year old. He (and the victim is male) has a fractured skull (I know about that a little) and can squeeze his dad’s hand and talk. That was at 9:43 last night. I don’t have a morning update yet.

Listening to Santorum stressing that large gains next month must be understood properly: it'll give Rs oversight, and the ability to stop more bad things from happening but 0 will still be president...

I'm thinking that 0 will resort more and more to EOs, and that ought to provide a nice confrontational atmosphere...

I am still furious over the non-decision on the Bush tax cuts. Looking for major ways to cut back. Very discouraged.

Our business made the decision to upgrade our phones, electronics, computers, some office furniture etc. First of all for the deduction. Secondly, because by the grace of God we have the cash reserves to do it right now. Thirdly, because who knows WHAT will be handed down in lameduck and next year.

Also today we can expect Der Frauher Sebelius to hand down one of her “discretions” regarding the McDonald’s insurance situation. While the rest of us peons just wait for the coronary that’s coming when we open the health insurance premium and see that rate hike.

We burned some branches in our back yard. Thankfully it was a calm day, little breezes, the flame stayed straight in the middle of the pile. Now I can order some good soil and begin my circle flower garden, with the weeping rose in the middle.

Well, I haven’t shipped the rose of sharon yet, because it has been too hot and dry. I’d like to see that things aren’t stressed by the drought before I stress them even further. I haven’t forgotten.
