I do not know. They dye Christmas Trees so?
Thanks - I am on FB, and those were cute!
DO NOT WANT!!
CC
She has such a pretty face. Here’s hoping they find her owner soon.
It’s obvious that the person did not want to cause harm to the cat, since they were careful not to dye around the eyes and mouth. It’s a strange story, to be sure. At least Pink is in good health. She might get a loving home for all her trouble. Hope so.
I wonder if Elle Wood would like this cat :)
The correct answer is “Not enough.”
If she was wearing a collar "fairly recently" she is likely either lost or stolen.
A stray would not wear a collar and, in my personal experience, people who bother to collar their cat rarely abandon them.
My aunt once dyed her white miniature poodle green for Easter. The dye didn’t wash out either. No long-term harm.
Whoever did it took the trouble to do it carefully. I’d say there was no malice intended.
I agree Angie——people don’t think....
During the birthing process the placenta caused her fur to turn a light tint of green.
but that was not the strange part. The strange part was she was born on St Patrick's Day.
She was green for about 3 weeks before it cleared up.
She is a pretty shade of cream now.
My then 4 year old nephew once connected the dot on my dalmatian, with colored magic markers.
Putting pink dye on a cat is sick? Another example of people who have no idea what right and wrong really are.
And:
“The person responsible has covered her thoroughly all over but avoided putting any around the animal's eyes and nose. “
So what did the people do that was wrong? Yes I would be annoyed if it was my cat, but the cat was not harmed.
My pup did the same thing. I walk into the room and there was my nephew using colored markers to connect his dots.
My nephew smiled at me and said, "Don't 101 look beautiful?
Poor old 101 just had that look."
I always wondered about “the horse of a different color” in “The Wizard of Oz.” It was purple I think? I bet they painted that horse and then it probably died after that and went to the ‘ol glue factory. If they painted Buddy Ebson and he inhaled silver paint and almost died then I guess that horse didn’t fare too well either. I remember hearing somewhere that “Monkey’s Jungle” in Florida is a monkey colony that came about from monkeys that were abondoned after the filming of a movie. Those were the good old days.
Zero sympathy.
Do you know what a cat would call somebody who dyed something pink and threw it over the fence?
He’d say “Slackers...!!”
The best way to sum it up goes something like this:
Cats make us look like amateurs!!
Cats are inhuman!
pink cat ping. ;D
