ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) Jay Cutler can't lose. Tony Romo can't win.
What a surprise for both the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys.
Cutler threw three touchdown passes and Romo wasn't able to respond, lifting the Chicago Bears to a 27-20 victory Sunday.
The Bears come away 2-0 for the first time since their Super Bowl season in 2006.
Dallas fell to 0-2 for the first time since 2001, when Quincy Carter took over for the retired Troy Aikman at quarterback. Cowboys loyalists will remember the 1993 season starting 0-2 and ending with a Super Bowl championship, but that club got Emmitt Smith back from a contract holdout to start its rally. This club can only look forward to tumult as owner Jerry Jones isn't likely to tolerate such a sloppy start to a season he expected to end in the Super Bowl at Cowboys Stadium.

And I started Romo in the Freeper Fantasy league. Cutler is on my bench.
Cowboys’ fans are waking up to the reality that Tony Romo is a mediocre QB, at best.
And also their defense couldn’t get a takeaway if the opposing team put the ball right into their hands.
Bears did better than BrettFavreBrettFavreBrettFavre to borrow Rushism... :)
The game came down to the missed field goal. That turned it around. Two weeks in a row. Will the kicker be back next week?
GO TEXANS!
“mediocre QB, at best”?
He certainly ain’t Staubach.
Dallas offense has been horrible the first two games. That is really a shame since the defense and been really good at getting to the quarterback - although it does seem that pass protection also needs real help.
Not looking good so far. Romo looks like he is a nervous cat trying to get rid of the ball before he gets hit. Not sure why, but he seems to have lost a bit since last year. You can’t blame it all on the offensive line either, even with time, he can’t seem to throw it with accuracy. Maybe he thinks he is playing golf.
This will shut up all of the people that say that pre-season doesn’t matter.
You play like you practice.
“The game came down to the missed field goal.”
No, it didn’t.
Well, it’s a well known fact that the Bears Still Suck. Looks like people are coming around to the fact that the Cowboys also SUCK!
Minnesoda? That’s a no-brainer.
There are a lot of problems on this team, outside of the kicker.
The defense’s lack of ability to make a big play for one, and giving up crucial points in the 4th quarter while the game is in the balance, as they did last week against Washington.
Speaking of Brent Favre.......he’s in mid-season form...3 INTS and 1 Fumble.
Nice work!
We’ll NEVER forget you, Brent!
GO!! PACK!! GO!!
Looks like it’ll be the Pack and da Bears in the B&B division.
The Packers are the far superior team, at least on paper.
Oh yeah.
When you’ve lost to Jay Cutler...
They lost to a team whose only road wins in the last two seasons were in Detroit.
Main problem: micromanagement by the owner. He will never hire a coach who is anything more than a puppet.
Jones has caught the “Al Davis Syndrome.”
