And also their defense couldn’t get a takeaway if the opposing team put the ball right into their hands.

Romo did not do that bad. The 2 fluke INTS did put us in a bind, but in the end it was all the other mistakes that doomed us. Both games our offense stats were better than the opponent. The mistakes are from the environment created by our laid-back, happy go lucky head coach, Wade Phillips.

Jerry Jones has such an ego and wants to play like he is the head coach, he will never hire anyone but coaches who will let him. So we keep getting laid-back coach after laid-back coach.

Sadly, the Cowboys will not see a Super Bowl again until Jerry Jones either swallows his pride or no longer owns the team. Sine I doubt he ever sells, we will have to wait and see if his son wants to win bad enough the bring in an assertive leader for head coach and let him do his job.

Apparently he bit his tongue long as long as he could with Jimmy Johnson, but has not been able to since then. That was a big part of the reason Jimmy left (remember "anyone could win the SB with what I gave him?").

I have been a Cowboys fan my whole life - I am certain I have been a fan longer than Jerry. I will be a fan after Jerry;s gone; I will have to wait him out I guess.
