Petition for Boehner to Step Down

Posted on 09/12/2010 9:10:52 AM PDT by GreaterSwiss

http://www.petitiononline.com/Boehner/petition.html

Rep Boehner should step down from party leadership after making the comments "If the only option I have is to vote for those at 250 and below, of course I'm going to do that. But I'm going to do everything I can to fight to make sure that we extend the current tax rates for all Americans". In his leadership place should be a real republican like Mike Pence.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned

He should not step down. He should just not be elected Speaker in January.

The left reminds me of the prop comedian "Carrot Top"...they keep pulling gags out of their trunk, trying to get a laugh.

Someone should sing the song, "It's Too Late Baby, now, It's too Late...".

They are trying so hard to "un-ring" the bell that they've been gonging for months now. Reminds me of the used car salesman who offers you a free ballpoint pen to make up for the clunker he sold you.

I think "Botox" Pelosi is all over this:

And exactly WHAT was wrong with his statement?
Looks like he wants to be fair to all TAXPAYERS.
Remember those people?
Yea, the one’s who pay the friggin’ bills?

Step down for what reason?

Let the stepping down come from the top - Barry. Ping me when there’s a thread about the NYT calling for Barry to step down.

Let's win the election first. We can argue over the menu later...right now we have to ensure that the guests show up for the banquet.

Who gives a flyin’ flip what ButtBoy Gibbs says? This is about our leadership, not his. In reality, he is supporting Boehner to be there and his agenda is to rail against him so we keep him in spite of what Gibbs has to say.

Gibbs is trying to build him up by being against him.

It doesn’t matter...

Any Republican is just another hussein with another face bringing complete marxism at a slower pace...

Of course the Democrat party, officially destroyed or not makes no diffreence—the “poor” will always be with us.

Those who want their King will see that we have it—come hell or high water.

That’s right, let’s just reinforce a false premise! Lets just take away all of their talking pionts by agreeing to their entire agenda!

The problem, as I see it, is that Nancy Pelosi would no more compromise than the devil himself....and yet the possible Republican chair is willing to cave if he "has to". Reminds me of the man's prayer on the Red Green show: Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Just another quote in a long list of Boehner Boners. How he got in leadership is a mystery.

You honestly think he's going to get removed, huh?

I hope you're right.

Basically, he is signaling that the GOP will agree to a tax cut that only applies to people earning up to $250,000. That would take in me, but he just played his trump card, and we’re not even in power yet. He’s go no more cards to play.

Looks like he wants to be fair to all TAXPAYERS.

If he wanted to be fair to the taxpayers, he'd work to stop sending warfare checks to the able bodies who have chosen welfare as a life style choice.

Drive by any government housing unit and take a good look. EACH one of those slugs, who do nothing but breed, are costing the American taxpayers $40,000.00 a piece EVERY year. Every kid they manage to pop out costs even more.

Putting these people to work would bring in enough tax revenue to pay off the deficit AND give the tax payers massive tax relief at the same time.

THIS is the huge elephant in the room. End wasteful welfare spending, and we'd see another roaring 20's overnight.
