Let me put it this way, if I had something already in the works that would fall under the umbrella of “service”, after reading this article, I’d cancel.
Dhimmitude is when the non-Muslims become slaves of the Muslims, right? And this is sort of what 9/11 was all about it. So to decide to make 9/11 an official Day of Service to Our Ruler seems pretty consistent with what has gone before.

The Knights of Columbus instituted the Heroes Fund on September 12, 2001 and provided $3,500 in immediate relief to the families of Emergency Personnel killed in the attacks regardless of religious affiliation. On September 13th we established a scholarship fund for any of their children who want to attend a Catholic college. Then there’s the Blue Mass. We didn’t do this because Barack changed the meaning of September 11. We know what it means. We also don’t need him or his wife to tell us to volunteer. We did it 125 years before she was proud of her country.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ll be kicked back in the chair with beer in hand watching college football all day.
2008, Speaking in Milwaukee, Wisconsin today, would-be First Lady Michelle Obama said, “for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”
How about an a.k.a. for the National Day of Service, something along the lines of Burn the Koran Day?
