Barry appears to have a very large scar on his leg.
Are there any doctors here who can identify what would cause a wound like this?
Added to the scar on his head, could he have been in a serious car/motorcycle accident?

I see the calf muscle on both legs. Is that what you are seeing as a scar? I have wondered about the scalp scar myself.
