BAKERSFIELD, Calif. A doctor involved in an "on-again, off-again" relationship apparently tried to force her way into her boyfriend's home by sliding down the chimney, police said Tuesday. Her decomposing body was found there three days later.
Dr. Jacquelyn Kotarac, 49, first tried to get into the house with a shovel, then climbed a ladder to the roof last Wednesday night, removed the chimney cap and slid feet first down the flue, Bakersfield police Sgt. Mary DeGeare said.
While she was trying to break in, the man she was pursuing escaped unnoticed from another exit "to avoid a confrontation," authorities said.

“Fatal Attraction”
Was the guy worthy?
What do you call the student who graduates from medical school at the bottom of their class?
Not now.
> “I doubt her tunneling efforts would have been any more succesful.”
.
Probably way less dangerous though!
“Darwin award.”
A Darwin Award winner who hopefully who hasn’t procreated to pass on the stupid gene.
Hmm... yes, maybe. Although if you have a stalker-ish ex, you tend to be on the lookout for their car.
This is the dumbest thing I’ve heard since the astronaut wore a diaper to Florida to kill the “other woman.”
Of what?
Love.
Well, I’d say she made a fuel of herself.
Under 4" should do it so you can fit through the throat of the fireplace.
Well, we found out whats been clogging up your chimney since last December, Miss Emmy.
Top of her class, I’m sure.
Bakersfield in the summer?
I’d say ‘bout average.
He was not there when she got there, the writer was just being funny.
How do you get that from the article? This is what it says:
"While she was trying to break in, the man she was pursuing escaped unnoticed from another exit 'to avoid a confrontation,' authorities said."
First of all, humor would be out of place in a news story like this. Secondly, there is no hint of humor in the comment.
This was AFTER he had already tried burying her next to the house, hence his story about her trying to dig under the house. What sense would it make to try to break into a house by digging under it? Even if it was a pier and beam foundation, she would still have had to somehow get through the floor. She was a doctor, so she was at least intelligent enough to know that wouldn't be feasable. Yes, she was drunk, supposedly, but wouldn't that make it even less likely that she would try something that strenous? Now if she had been high on uppers or cocaine, maybe it would be more believable.
They're trying to fool us!
This is about what chopped-blond liberal professional women in California are really like: insane rageaholics over being denied anything, ever.
My Californian neighbor's wife is really a spoiled she-devil. Her husband came over the day before her birthday last week, saying she wanted something that went 0 to 200 miles per hour fast, and didn't care what color is was. I suggested he buy her a bathroom scale.
The violence and hatred of the California liberal woman is THE most non-reported story in the world.
Murdering insane she devils!
they will grease the drivetrains of their Lexus SUVs with your guts while laughing on their cell phones to the girls about what scum men are.
Ohhhhh...
You know... sometimes a banana is just a banana.
If she had been claustrophobic, it might have prevented her from doing something as stupid as this.
