I was just watching Hannity out here on the West Coast. Hannity had said to Bob Beckel that the polls were devastating for the Dems and Bob Beckel said, and I'm paraphrasing, "These (welfare and entitlement) programs that the Democrats have pushed...we thought we were doing the right thing but we actually have created generations of dependency, and now we have to admit that they have not worked and that they were mistakes."
Hannity looked like he was in a state of shock when he heard Beckel say this and he responded that it was one of the most honest things he's heard.
I still can't believe that Bob Beckel, one of the most partisan Dems around, had the guts to admit this.

If you are caught quoting it back to Bob, you will be accused of an “attack”, that is, catching a LibDem telling the truth. I’m sure he is being misquoted.
I’m watching the Restoring Honor replay on C-SPAN, but will catch hannity on tivo. Beckel said that??? Maybe he watched some of the “restoring honor” rally over the weekend...;)

I think Fox News has that effect on commentators. Democratic pollster Pat Caudell likewise has deviated from the party line. On the other hand, Juan Williams needs more indoctrination.

Beckel obviously doesn’t understand how democratic voters are created. The dims are truly the party of failure.
Beckel was not his usual screaming, crazy self today. He was actually calm, he almost looked sedated. He should buy that stuff in bulk, then in the future when I watch him on Hannity I won’t have the urge to throw something at the TV when I see his face
