Let me know if that is true. The book I wrote on Harry might put the damper on Lieberman’s generosity.
Wouldn't be surprising. When the Dems in the Senate wanted to strip Lieberman of his seniority perks and committee chairmanship because Lieberman had run as an Independent and defeated the Democratic candidate for Senate in Connecticut, Harry Reid stuck up for Lieberman and saw to it that he remained as a committee chairman. (They needed that 60th vote.)
