It all went downhill after Dr. No..the scene when Ursula Andress walks out of the ocean, in the white bikini...nothing ever topped that, IMHO..

(sigh) He's still so gorgeous most other actors won't even stand next to him in photos.
Happy Birthday, Agent Dreamboat.
Movie Note: Even though its pretty much unwatchable, in "Zardoz" Connery is practically naked thru the whole movie.
You're welcome.

Connery was the best Bond by far, and a great actor still.
One of my favorites. Now don’t any of my Freeper friends tell me he’s a flaming liberal donkey. I’m trying my best to seperate Hollywood from politics. They just don’t mix.

The thing I love about Sean Connery is no matter what part he plays, be it a Russian sub captain (Search for Red October) a Muslim Chieftain (The Wind and the Lion) or a Cowboy (Shalako) he always plays the part with a heavy Scottish accent. And pulls it off!!
To: Perdogg
I liked Hunt For Red October.
A Russian with a Scottish accent. Who else could have pulled that off.
But Entrapment was kinda lame. No fault of Connery's.

Sean Connery made Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade somewhat bearable....

Great on screen but the few people I know who have spent time with him, and the two ghost-writers who walked away from working with him on a bio, all say he is a miserable human being.

NONE, NONE NONE have ever touched Sean as being the best Bond. He was James Bond the others were impostors.
