To all Freepers:
Folks, social applications like Twitter and Facebook are HUGE security risks. Particularly with identity theft and can even lead to exploitation of children. I am a security professional and have worked in the field for over 20 years. I highly recommend that if you have such accounts that you close them, delete any and all information on your pages and notify the application owner that you wish the account to be removed and DELETED from all caches and records for security reasons.
I LOVE my FB. I have “met” many a fellow conservative’s and it’s also another wealth of information.
Anytime ANY of us log into or become members of ANYTHING on the internet, we open ourselves up.
My advise....DON’T input your real info.
That’s a tad extreme.
One just needs to understand and control their privacy settings and not go overboard with personal information.
Someone can find out more about me from the local county auditor’s or clerk of court’s site than Facebook.
If you don’t want to be traced or “known” on the internet you’ll have to completely unplug.
And if I did this, how will I keep in touch with friends and family? The good is way more benefit than negative.
