Save the list of Freepers names you want to ping somewhere(Word document, notepad etc...)on your hardrive. Then copy the list to the “TO” window when posting a thread or reply.

Just put Moose or Cheese in your post and it will pick up all the pings you need.

Save them in your FR Account-Profile section to copy and paste when you need them.

Definitely keep a list on your hard drive. Put a copy of the ping you wish to send in the same place, that way you can just cut and paste even a complex ping.

Decide on a unique keyword and add it to all threads you ping to. That way you archive all of your pings.

Post the ping on articles of interest and anyone interested will contact you.

I handle my ping list in Notepad. The list of people are kept in one section, names separated by semi-colons. The actual list I develop daily (what shows in the above link), including graphics, are kept separately below that area. I then copy/paste each section into the appropriate area in the response panel.

To do this you need some familiarity with HTML code. The use of...

< p > For paragraph

< br > For line break

< a href="[Link]" >[Descriptive Name]< /a >

...are all used in setting up the daily ping. NOTE: The spaces you see before/after any "<" or ">" should not be there. For instance, in < p > there should be no spaces. I've added them so the code would show up in this paragraph.

Be sure to save your Notepad document with a descriptive name. Then it can be used any time you want. Also, I save the list of people I ping in a separate Excel file as well, each name being given it's own row. This way I have backup of my ping list, and I can use the numbered rows to easily determine how many I have on my list.

I periodically FReepmail myself my updated ping list. That way I have a recent list NOT on my computer.

Same way I do the Seinfeld list.

You tell people “You must name names! We need a name! Give us a name!”

Then, you put them on your “List.”

And, voila!

I’d like to know who keeps the unnatural and dangerous-but-fun living ping list.

Add an “n” to your “pig” list between the “i” and the “g”.

Can I be on the ‘healthy and natural living ping list’ and the smokers ping list at the same time? Or will it crash the system?

Easy to update, easy to access.

How does one create a ping list?

You use three cups of bleached flour, 1/2 cup of buttermilk, throw an egg in there, add a cup of cornmeal and some dried jalapenos (amount dependent on your own taste.) Hum a little paprika and cayenne in there and then bake all of that at 350 for 35 minutes.

At least I think that's how it's done.
