Why did no one object to the "Pentagon mosque"?

Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be fired.

People were a little more educated back then and it was well known the history of the American Navy and Marines first job was to deal with the Muslims on the north African coast.

And, once they had been dealt with, they stayed 'dealt with' for many, many decades.

You've been played ~ I went looking for Chapel stories because that's all you'll find on a military base ~ places called "chapel" ~ and a mosque would be as unlikely as a Roman Catholic cathedral at Fort Benning!!!!

The only important chapel story was about the "new memorial chapel" ~ and the complaint of the chaplain's office that they hadn't really had a place dedicated as a chapel at the Pentagon before.

If no chapel there'd be no mosque.

The Pentagon, after all, is not an airport.

The Pentagon is still standing, while the World Trade Center is gone.

I want the floor, ring and corridor number of the chapel you hypothesize existed before the Memorial chapel.

Sure...I haven't worked there since last summer. It is BG840 or so...just beyond the PAC. I'll get you the exact number from some folks who still work there. They still hold events there that are too big for the Memorial Chapel, which is relatively small.

Now, why can't I be someone of an expert in a building I've visited hundreds of times over the years. I live within 10 miles of it, and for a long time I had direct business dealings with the postal military liaison office ~

Anyone else I could believe. It is just you...yes personally...who spouts off about everything. Big deal, you live in DC and went into the building a few times. I worked there for 4.5 years and had access to all areas.

But who am I to question the know-it-all blowhard letter carrier?

The Pentagon is not as tall ~ but certainly as capacious.

The part that could cave in and burn did so.

Remember, we must never forget that the Islamofascist Terrorists intended to murder the 50,000+ people working in the WTC, the 25,000 working on Capitol Hill and the 24,000+ working at the Pentagon.

The fact they didn't kill to their fill should not be credited to them by depicting any of their attacks as not being important, or meaningful.

Their intent was to murder 100,000 human beings ~ and they got stopped by the skill and intelligence, and preparedness of their intended victims.

4.5 years in the Pentagon ~ cleaning floors no doubt. We are talking about a Memorial Chapel that didn't exist before 9/11 aren't we? This is already 2010.

BTW, I was hardly a letter carrier.

BTW, when you are spouting off about stuff going on in my end of town, or my former occupation, or political theory (little studied by most posters on any boards), of course my responses might well suggest I know a something about the topic.

Now about Colonels being sent out for coffee at the Pentagon ~ ever get to do that? If you didn't you've got no room to talk.
