On another planet, it sounds like Steven Slater and I could have been friends.
He likes swearing, beer and rubber slides. Me, too!
But Slater is an airline attendant, or steward, or whatever

And you’ve clearly shown your preference for the ignorant “antics” of Joseph Goebbels.
The only one with "ignorant antics" in this is you with your lack of facts and non-answers and when losing the arguement WITH ANYONE you pull the race card.
My experience with Amtrak:
Amtrak was very expensive ( especially if traveling as a family) and the parking available was completely inadequate.
sky me all you want Wee Willie. You have yet to answer ANY of my questions to you.
You were told point blank that I have no intent of responding to your trashy graphics.
IMHO the vulgar poor taste that you display drives away the more intelligent participants of this forum, but if the mods have some reason for tolerating your presence, it makes little difference to me. Quite frankly, I consider it a positive indicator of my communication skills that I attract a swarm of belligerent naysayers. It means that I'm whacking the raw nerve that needs to be whacked!!! LOL!
Of course, if I had my druthers, I’d drive myself. Far more efficient, comfortable and friendly.

If it is within a 12 to 14 hour drive my husband and I choose the car every time.
Oh poor delusional Willie. You attract a swarm of naysayers becasue you are constantly trying to steal our money to pay for your choo choos that no-one ever rides.
And yes our nerves are raw. After the liberal currently residing in the White House has been stealing from us fo rthe last few years the last thing we need is another liberal with their hand in our pockets.
If it is within a 12 to 14 hour drive my husband and I choose the car every time.
Mass transit can be effective if you are a single traveller, but the more people going with you the more the car makes better financial sense.
For example. I travel on business to one particular city quite often. My organization pays about $240 round trip for air fare. If I were to pay that for myself it would be cheaper than driving. If I were married and my wife came with me, our two tickets would be more than driving would cost. If our two children came with us, the cost of flying (or amtrak) would be more than the cost of the entire trip.
Plus in mass transit you are extremely limited in the amount of stuff you can bring with you.
It is just so much smarter to drive.
I would prefer to drive, but the vistas on the Trans-Pacific bridge are pretty monotonous.
BUMP.
Sick of subsidizing Amtrak, that used primarily in the North East.
Amtrak - subsidized by all and used primary by those in the North East.
Per ratio, I've come across more belligerent passengers than flight attendants. Maybe it's the liquor?
Glad I’m not the only one to notice the similarity. The police commentary on his flamboyant demeanor sealed it.
Amtrak - subsidized by all and used primary by those in the North East.
Actually, Amtrak services more passengers in California than any other state:
2008 Amtrak service by state (pdf)
California - 10.6 million riders
Washington - 1.2 million riders
Oregon - 0.8 million riders
------------------------------
New York - 10.4 million riders
Pennsylvania - 5.6 million riders
Massachusetts - 2.8 million riders
Maryland - 1.8 million riders
New Jersey - 1.7 million riders
Connecticut - 1.6 million riders
Virginia - 1.0 million riders
Rhode Island - 0.8 million riders
Delaware - 0.7 million riders Delaware -
Thanks for the good information, Willie Green. We’re still subsidizing democrat states and unions. I’m sick of it.
I like (love) trains, but all the subsdizing has to stop. Bust the unions in all industries, starting with government, and watch great things happen.

Organized labor evolved in response to the horrific human abuse of Dickensian capitalism.
As a conservative Christian I find your libertarian disdain for our blue collar workforce to be morally repugnant.
Please read the encyclical of our Holy Father Pope Leo XIII: Rerum Novarum On Capital and Labor
In this encyclical his holiness outlines the rights and duties of these two opposing forces, and warns against favoring the excesses of one over the other.
"For the love of money is the root of all evil:
which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith,
and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
1 Timothy 6:10
Unions are NOT the brotherhood, so take yourself off your high horse, Willie. SEIU, AFL-CIO & GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE UNIONS are arms of the Marxist party. It’s the leadership, Willie.
Andy Sullivan, (NY Carpenters Union) for only one example, is doing good works: Do a search of his name + the mosque at Ground Zero.
Its the leadership, Willie.
It certainly is...
Just like I've been saying all along... flip sides of the same coin.
